Os X Arcade Machine

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer. 5 |

I use these 120GB SSDs for my virtual machine installs using Proxmox. VM OS installs do not need much space and these are perfect for the low power draw. Hovering around $21, these are perfect. I have many PNY SSD drives still around from years ago and only displaying 7% wearout being on 24/7. Inexpensive, quality drives. 5 |

I use this drive as the Time Machine backup disk for my laptop running OS X Yosemite; it works nicely. With the drive on my desk, I can still hear the cooling fan, but I don't mind it. I think the device is well designed (easy-to-use and looks good), and it has a good warranty. 5 |

I bought this drive as an emergency and backup drive to have while traveling. It is small, lightweight, and doesn't require a separate power cord. It is excellent for the purpose and a very good value.I have a 500 GB MyPassport that has been in constant service for more than two years as a Time Machine drive for an iMac. That My Passport has performed flawlessly. This My Passport does not come GUID formatted (required in order to install OS-X), but GUID can be added easily with Apple's Disk Utility. I've partitioned the drive into a 250 GB bootable OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion) partition and a 750 GB Time Machine partition. 5 |

I was a Windows user for a very long time. Other than being a photographer, I also code. For years, I have known that Photoshop and Lightroom Classic just work better on Mac. I stayed with Windows system simply because I didn't want to learn a new dialect for my coding. Over the years, Windows OS just became increasingly not user friendly, and the quality of Windows machines are getting worse. So, it was a no-brainer when it came to upgrading time. I decided to leave the dark side and purchased a 14 M2 MacBook Pro Max. This machine is unbelievable! It is super-fast, easy to use and good-looking. It is every bit as Apple had promised. PS and LRC run like a champ on Apple silicon. I am glad I made the switch. If you have been contemplating switching from PC to Mac, just do it. There is absolutely no learning curve. It only took me about ten minutes to get familiarized with Mac OS. It is extremely intuitive. By the way, I purchased the MacBook from B&H because they are simple awesome, and they were able to ship my machine thirty days sooner than my local Apple Store! 5 |

This machine is probably overkill for a home-user like me, but I've been making great use of its extra computing power for virtualization and containerization. The QNap OS strikes a nice balance of power-user features but guided management. Well built, it allows some great upgrades (like the GTX 1060 Mini I bought) and RAM. Great machine, great OS, am very happy with my purchase. 5 |

NAS, Virtual Machines, Docker and Applications! This machine does it all. Synology has built its OS with every possible use case imagined. Transitioned from a DS920+ just by putting the old disks in it and it booted right up into a upgrade wizard. Everything just works and its easy! 5 |

Have close to 2 T of data and wanted something large enough to use with Mac OS Time Machine. Installed this and set it up and it works quietly in the background. 5 |
