Otterbox Defender Phone Case Samsung Note 5

Otterbox Defender Sreies one of the better ones. Ive used this one for years ever since the note 3 phone series.

I picked this up to use with my phone (Samsung Note 9 with an Otterbox case) and it just wedges in the Xuma spring loaded mount enough to hold the phone in place. I wanted something I could carry around in my back pocket when hiking and recording events (I was tired of makeshift tripod using trees, bushes, rocks, etc.). This tripod fit the bill for the intended purpose. That said, for kicks I tried mounting my Canon T1i /EOS 500D DSLR with a EF-S 18 - 200mm zoom lens and it would not hold its shape; acting more like play-doh. However, it did support the same camera with the 18 - 55mm kit lens on a flat surface. So, the tripod works as advertised and little beyond.

I love the otterbox defender. Had the same case on my old phone and it after three years it was in mint condition.

I don't think I would have a phone without OtterBox protection. When I get a new phone, I don't use it until the case is on it. Thanks for making the Defender Pro!

I really like this mounts' versatilely, I used the included magnetic plate under my Otterbox defender case to attach to my phone and I can use either the desk mount or mount it to with an arca style clamp to mount it on a tripod. The magnetic mount holds the phone very securely without fear of the phone falling. this is a great mount, i highly recommend it.

The Defender series case is the best phone case any one could own! This case protects your phone!!! I hope Otterbox never stops selling this case, because it is the only one I will use!!! Great case!!!

Fits my 10.2 iPad in an OtterBox Defender case without any problems.

Even with a very grippy OtterBox Defender Case (iPad Air case on a 5th Gen iPad) the edges don't give you much space to hold. If your thumb touches the screen, your touchscreen functions don't work correctly. The Latch II solves this problem by giving you a handle on back. It is very comfortable and rotates for portrait or landscape modes. The belt clip, accessory bag, and shoulder strap are icing on the cake.

The FoneMate is far and above other phone adapters I've tried. I have a large cell phone with an even larger OtterBox Defender case on it, and fits very well. My very first image with an 8 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope was impressive for a cell phone photo. I imaged Jupiter while it was only about 28 degrees above the horizon, so the seeing (atmospheric turbulence) was dreadful, but still managed to get some detail. See attached image.

I have an Otterbox Defender for my phone and iPad. I’ve dropped my phone plenty of times and it’s just fine. No worries with the Defender!
