I bought this item to install in my DIY photo booth so that kids would not need to stand on stools or chairs and risk falling and being injured. After just a slight modification of my design I was able to install it and it works perfect!

Best chairs for prop department

I shoot mostly outdoor events at my kids schools, and living in Los Angeles you have very bright sunny days. This diffuser helps me create a more controlled shade to eliminate harsh sunlight and shadows on the face. Pros: It is light, opens and folds easily. Very reliable, not expensive. Cons: When folded and stored in the carry bag, it is big, and doesn't fit small camera bags. But then again - this is a 40 diffuser...

I purchased this lens after having used my 70-200mm f2.8 lens almost exclusively for outdoor sports photography (of my kids' comp soccer). It has been a terrific addition and much more useful tool because I can stand on an end zone and reach all the way down to the other side of the field. Still need just a little bit of cropping but super crisp images.

I photography kids outdoor sports and have been shooting with my Canon 70 - 200 mm which in many instances it didn't have the reach. This magnificent lens not only has the reach but the quality of the shots is stunning - razor sharp, beautiful colors, and blurred backgrounds. When I deliver Sports Illustrated quality shots to parents and kids they are not only amazed but my orders have tripled. It is pricey, somewhat heavy but well worth it (it also gives great lens envy).
