I love my new Mackie. I run karaoke and have the whole sound setup of powered amp and bulky speakers. I purchased this for my wife for Christmas. She loves karaoke and she does recordings. Was originally going to go with a mixer and powered speakers, but when I saw how dead simple the controls for this were and the simple portability I was sold. It sound really good. Using a tablet for the karaoke connected through bluetooth and then four mic inputs - this thing sounds great. We use the headphone jack with a converter to go to her phone and she is able to do livestreams and record and it sounds perfect. The EON208P comes with one microphone and there were two other mics included - three in total. The stands are good quality for this size speaker. It can definitely use a subwoofer - which it has provision for. You can also easily add a monitor, or other powered speakers. We used it with an electric guitar and acoustic guitar with vocals and both sounded excellent. The mic stands are not heavy duty, fine for home use and light travel, but if you were gigging all the time may need to upgrade them. Overall very satisfied with the sound, portability, cost of the whole package. The price of the package was the same as the price of the speakers and mixer - so lots of freebies to get started that could be upgraded over time.
