Outdoor Security Camera For Extreme Cold Weather

I use this in the field, in NY. I generally do landscape photography, or outdoor macro photography. With the cold weather, this has helped keep my camera warm so as to reduce condensation, but those times when a light sprinkle hits, this is a great addition to my camera bag. I love that its big enough for my longest zoom, but doesn't get in the way of my shorter lenses for macro shots.

During the extreme cold weather (-35) here in Montana frost patterns emerged in our bedroom window. I used my old Canon 100mm macro USM lens on my Sony A7R3 with a Sigma MC-11 adapter. Ambient lighting was insufficient for handheld macro, but the ring light gave me a very useable ISO 1600 at 1/2000 at f8. I use high capacity rechargeable lithium batteries for optimum performance.

The pen is nice and works fine everywhere, in extreme weather such as humidity or cold. I have used everywhere and is part of my daily routine, I take it everywhere with me.

As a working photographer in Fairbanks Alaska working under extreme cold weather conditions is just another day on the job. Over the years I have tried countless gloves and mittens in search of the perfect set up with little luck until I received my Heat Company 3 smart Mittens/Gloves. This product exceeded my expectations by far, its not quite cold enough right now for use right now so instead I tested them out for an hour in a cold storage warehouse at -30F. This is a well thought out design as well as well constructed with durability in mind. During the test my camera and tripod were set up including the painstaking task of screwing in the remote trigger cable to a Nikon D4s. Went trough shot a few frames and operated all the controls on my cameras without taking these gloves off which is amazing. Working in sub zero conditions and having to remove your gloves is a game ender after some real time use I will add another review

I buy these every December from B&H, they have them special priced before Christmas. They are not extreme cold weather gloves, but will be good for all less cold wear.

I use my Glacier gloves with a warming pack for outdoor cold weather photography.  As well, I need them for computer work inside during our coldest months.

Great to use during cold weather outdoor photography. I keep my hand warm in mitten and keep the shutter release inside the mitten. No more cold index finger while shooting.

I ordered this gloves for my outdoor photoshoot during the cold weather and used this gloves a week ago for the eagles photography at the Conowingo Dam in Maryland. It works perfectly as advertised. This has the best design for photographer during the cold season for just the two fingers with overlapping caps and keep the hands warmed during the photoshoot. Very well made and design to hold the camera without any slipping or discomfort issues. Highly recommended.
