Outdoor Security Cameras 720P Vs 1080P

Hard to beat a good ViewSonic monitor. This might be the best value at 1080P 165hz! If it's anything like my past VS monitors, it'll last you 10+ years!

upgraded from another brand's 24" HD (720P) TV to 27" FHD (1080P), which is the largest we can fit in our kitchen. Since the cable service we get is 1080P, we know see what we were missing on the prior TV. Very happy

I have used these on large audio/video installs to send a 1080p resolution to projectors and, at the same time, a 720p signal to a computer for live webcasting. In a pinch, two of them have been leveraged as HDMI extenders over SDI.

I shoot video mostly 720p & 1080p and I have several older C Mount Lenses.� This adapter is great for putting them on my Z Cam E1 with a Micro 4/3 mount.� The majority of my C Mount Lenses only cover a 2/3" sensor so the results on Micro 4/3 video are a cropped circle, top and bottom are OK, but left and right do show the circle. I'm able to fix that in post by zooming into the area of the circle, so this is no big deal, BUT consider that in most cases you'll need to fix this in camera with a digital zoom or in post.� To avoid loss of sharpness, I shoot one step higher in resolution when I'm going to crop in post.� A few of the C Mount Lenses do fill the frame and there's no need for cropping.

Tropical storm Hilary on the west coast took out 2 of my 720p cameras. I could only find 4k replacements for my system. I bought 1 to see if it would work with my old DVR. It provided a crisp and clear picture with a wider field of view. I ordered 6 more cameras and replaced all of my old external 720p cameras. Garage camera is 720p compared to backyard 4k camera.
