Outdoor Stereo Speaker Volume Control

Using this to control wall speaker volume remotely to a stereo receiver in the next room. Works great working at line levels without having to have a huge high-powered speaker L-pad in the wall that eventually gets scratchy sounding and dead spots. Made by RDL which I've used in many custom installations in the past. Very reliable products, practically bulletproof! Had to get 2 for stereo.

The HAUC Active Stereo Headphone Control Box by Whirlwind fits the bill perfectly for studio headphone control. Easily mounted under the desk, it is a solid piece of gear. In my studio, I have several headphone locations branching off a multi-headphone amp. Using the HAUC, i am able to give each user a choice of 3.5 mm and 1/4 jacks, and full volume control. Installation was a breeze with four screws. At my news-talk table, I have daisy-chained three thanks to the dual jacks in the back, and each still has its own volume control. Well worth the money and highly-recommended.

I have two sets of speakers, one indoor and one outdoor that needed separate volume control but with audio coming from the same source. Worked perfect.

I'm using a legacy power amp to power my outdoor speakers as a separate zone and did not want to purchase an expensive preamp. This component let me take the line out from my receiver and sonos directly to the 300 watt power amp and control the volume. The line out was running the amp at full volume which was both too loud and distorted. Now I have full control over the input source and the amplifier volume.

Purchased this speaker for outdoor use for parties, get togethers, etc. Amazing sound, volume, and bass from such a small speaker. This speaker will be able to handle most at home situations. Very heavy for its size. A bit pricey, but well worth the expense.

As there is no volume twirl on it, which is located in the back of the speaker, and probably that is the only con of these speakers (but maybe not because they look the same) I set it on the middle from the back - 50%, and I control the sound volume from my pc's keyboard, I am using it around 20-30% of the system volume. It has a really good quality audio and can get really really loud!

This is exactly what I was looking for to control the entire speaker system in and out of the house. Being able to control each speaker set with it's own seperate volume control is a big plus. Very easy to use and appears to be solidly made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really loving this speaker and the retro look. Its very intuitive to use and set up. The volume and equalizer control knobs on top are easy to use and I prefer over push button adjustments. IMO the best part is having it connected to the WiFi and setting it up with Google assistant. When it is set up on the WiFi it is always ready for action and you don’t have to initiate Bluetooth everytime you want to use it. Google assist allows you to control the speaker completely hands free. It has the perfect amount of bass and a very rich sound. Would highly recommend this speaker. There is not really any negative aspects, except maybe the volume knob feels a little cheap plasticky. Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I have to bring up is how beautiful the design is. I saw that it won an iF Design Award 2023. I had to look that up and apparently it's a very prestigious award for design and quality, if you got a minute look it up. The Authenticator 500 has a retro style with awesome quality sound. A couple of things about the style I like to call out is the waffle front speaker is firm to the touch, not spongy. The subtle gold trim and covered in a faux leather showing the grain.Nice touch! The back hookups are very straight forward, ethernet, AUX and USB C. Right on top it has easy control of volume, treble, bass and bluetooth sync. The setup was super easy with the JBL One App. Easy to sync and it had more options in the app that are pretty cool, equalizer, sync to your favorite music streaming service and control it from the app and a new one on me called “Moments”. This is where you select your favorite playlist from your streaming service and when you hit the heart button on the top of Authenticator it will automatically play the collection. Let's talk about integrations. It supports Chromecast, Apple Airplay, Spotify and has Alexa and Hey Google built in. Ill talk about Alexa, that’s what I have. It's super responsive to my voice and it's just like having my Echo. A bonus is on the Amazon app it will sync your speakers and there is no delay in music playing from different rooms in your house. Speaking of sound, it is big and rich! I am a skeptic of having Double Atoms from one speaker. Well it looks like one speaker however it has about roughly 7 speakers from what I can see from the picture on the box. You can easily control the volume, bass and treble from the dials on top and of course from the app as well. I love loud music but when I get to 1⁄2 volume it BOOMS! Well worth it! Hoping this helps if you had any questions

I don’t have to have the volume all the way up because the speaker is where I am.
