I have really been enjoying this lens. I am a 57 year-old outdoor enthusiast. This lens gets me out even more. I am not into the tech talk of photography... I will say I really like the pictures this lens has taken. I will also say that even though the size and weight gets your attention, it is a reasonable item to carry in all kinds of places. I have taken it down paved trails at sanctuaries as well as snowshoeing deep snow in the thick woods of northern Minnesota. I can carry it without fatigue and still take hand-held photos. I also took some middle school football game pictures with no sports photography experience. The pictures were great! I use this lens on a d750. I could not be happier!

Since I do a lot of astronomy photography, my tech recommended this in case should the outdoor humidity cause any type of humid coating on my sensor while changing lenses and this will work effectively in removing it using the appropriate brushes I got also.
