Outlet Box Extender Ace Hardware

Ace Hardware sells an on/off toggle switch you can use with this. Plugs right into your monster circuit breaker ;-). I could have wired an in line on off switch but for that price, I'll have another beer, lol. As for the rest this item, can't really be beat for the price anywhere. Unless you start spending over 1k this is the ticket.

Is it possible to direct wire this to my outlet box? Thanks!

Ordering and Shipping - B&H Photo shipped the product on time and it arrive undamaged and well protected in the box. Product - The Eve Energy Outlet arrived in new condition in unopened retail packaging. The package includes the outlet, faceplate, and wire nuts for installation. Installation - You will need a neutral wire in order to successfully install the Eve Energy Outlet. The device itself is thicker than a regular outlet, so a shallow electrical box won't work. A regular or deep electrical box is best. Follow the included instructions and you should not have any problems. Setup - After the Eve Energy Outlet is installed and power has been turned back on, the device can be paired in the normal way for your home automation system. I'm using Apple Home, and the pairing through the Apple Home app is as simple as taking a picture of the pairing QR code. The device is initially created as a group of two outlets in Apple Home. Turning the device on / off changes the state of both outlets. You will need to ungroup the device in Apple Home if you want to control each outlet individually. The buttons on the front can also be used to manually turn the outlets on / off. They are somewhat small and will be very difficult to press when both outlets have something plugged into them. The Eve Energy Outlet responds very quickly to requests in the Apple Home app to turn the individual outllets on / off. It has never dropped out of the Apple Home system, and it reconnects quickly after power outages. Speaking of power outages, each plug in the outlet will return to its prior on/off state after a power interruption. Overall - This is an excellent smart outlet with solid build quality, quick response times, and a straightforward / easy installation process.

I bought this to fit on my Sachtler Ace Matte Box, which also features a 143mm clamp, to adapt my Cine-Mod Nikkor AIs and Zeiss ZF lenses. It works perfectly and I couldn't be happier, except that I'm miffed with Sachtler / Vintec to fail to provide an essential accessory like this with their products. If I ever get a budget for a better Matte Box, I will definitely consider Wooden Camera's! For now I give their universal cloth donut two big thumbs up.

It is a great lens but as instructions in box need a flash extender to work with flash otherwise you have shadows at the bottom of picture. --- Flash extender is not yet available will not even pull up with part number that came with the lens. --- Bad PR. Hopefully only due to everything that Japan is still going through. I hope Sony makes this part a priority since the lens does not work with the flash on in a quality known with the Sony products.

There are many A+ reviews about the 2x Extender from Explore Scientific! Add my opinion as A+. Okay, so the glass is excellent and the machining of the unit is exemplary - fit & finish unbeatable. What puts this above & beyond are the instructions are easy to read & understand, and the box from ES is an amazing work of art and utility! Seriously! The box alone is probably worth keeping & displaying at any gathering! The extender is hefty and is packed well within; a given. The covering is based on Wil Tirion's Uranography & Graphic Design! My wife was more impressed with the boxes, than the gadgets! Guys, ponder it. I may survive this purchase. LOL!

The title says it all getting a ace L for under $800 is a no brainer lol.

My lanai lights plug into an outlet that is set into an outdoor box which is barely wider than the receptacle. All the smart plugs I had found were too wide to fit into the box. The new Wemo Mini fits perfectly and allows me to control my lanai lights using Siri and Apple Homekit.

Promptly after removing this item from it's well styled yet understated white box I put it straight to work. Carefully inserting one end into an electrical outlet conveniently located in a wall near by. And the other end into my mount that was unfortunately set up about 3 & 1/2 inches to far from said outlet to reach with the length of cord provided with the device. Provided you don't get the AC and DC ends mixed up the device should work well for you.
