Outlet Covers Glass Tile Backsplash Extenders

I love my tile! Super loud, so I can find my keys even when they are under my covers!

I ordered two of these cords to help spread out our exterior holiday display. We needed a multi-outlet cord that was long and able to handle exposure to the elements. The distribution of outlets including one at the tail allows for a large amount of flexibility for the placement of items. We also like that each outlet has tabs with holes in them that you can use to secure each outlet to stakes or walls. The outlets don't come with covers which leaves any that you don't use exposed. We purchased plastic safety electrical covers to keep water out. Note that the packaging says 'Century' not Milspec. They are made by Century and distributed by Milspec.

I've had several different types on covers over the years. The Defender flip cap is a must if you really want to protect your glass. I love the way it folds flat as well. As usual, well done Vortex!

Expensive glass only works when you do what you can to protect it. Having extra rear lens covers is always a plus as they can get misplaced during hectic weddings and location shoots.

I've been getting LensCoat covers for my big glass for awhile now. Lots of little pieces for this zoom lens but it all works. I actually appreciate that the big piece to cover the barrel at the 400 zoom extension has a Velcro fastener so you can easily decide to wrap the barrel IF you're just using the lens at the longest focal length. Hopefully, I won't lose track of it. Good products.

The ease of use of this great fitting cap contributed to getting the photos I needed for a golf tournament. Moving around the course and changing lenses can result in a lot of missed shots if time is wasted. I don't like to leave my expensive glass open to the wind, dust , sand , water, etc and using the Nikon supplied cover or just towel covers takes time or makes for unsatisfactory protection. This lens cap is quick and easy to remove and put on the lens and has a sturdy, true fit. It doesn't matter if the lens covers are on or off, the attachment of this cover remains simple and easy. The cover is very sturdy and does not touch the glass at all. The handle is very flexible and fits withe the lens into the case as if it was made for it. So changing lenses but protecting my lens investment became a non-issue .

This set covers most situations you could ask for. The filters are well made, the rings are (I think) aluminum/aluminium and the glass is coated with magic to keep the aberration you'd usually see with something like this to a minimum. If you can spare the gil, don't buy the other kits. This one hits nicely in the mid-field of the cost/value formula. Sure you're not getting the super magnifier the Vivitar set has, but you're getting a better-quality product overall so you can get up close and personal with your subjects.

A great protector for the money. It covers all the glass including the blacked out border on the edges so make sure your alignment is perfect. Its very clear and doesn't add a lot of glare, Worth the money.
