Outlet Network Extender

Easy to set up. Replaced and extender with this mesh network. This is vastly better.

Works as advertised. Plug into a wall Cat5/6 outlet and adopt into your network. Took just a few minutes to get up and running. Great option for a room that is not getting good coverage from the other APs as long as you have existing Cat5/6 available in that room.

RT-AX55 is a quality product, I am using it as an extender for my home network using AiMesh and the signal seems to be strong. It was a very easy setup and configure to my Asus - AC3100 dual Band Wifi router.

I have the base station and 2 extender stations. The signal in this meshed network is stronger all through the house, and there are no more dead spots. We can easily still get the WiFi signal outside on the patio.

I have purchased this router to add to my existing eero 6 setup (router + extender). Adding it to the network was quick and painless. I purchased a router instead of another extender because I needed the ethernet port for accessories and everything worked well plugged in. The eero app is also much nicer than the Linksys one I used in my previous wifi system.

The extender setup was a breeze. It connected easily to my home network. It has extended the range of the WiFi significantly to the other end of the house. This sure beats the cheap knock-off I bought, which never was able to connect properly.

We are two weeks into using our new AmpliFi MeshPoint so this is the first impression. So far, I am very happy with the MeshPoint because we can now stream movies and work on the computer much more robustly and reliably than with the extender. We used to have to unplug and replug the extender because the signal seemed to drop. SO far, the signal has stuck. We also used to have to use a mobile phone data plan to create a hotspot in order to have a robust signal in this location; now we can use the AT&T cable network. The AMPLIFI selling process is also a huge bonus because tech support, through a multi-day e-mail exchange, helped me identify several AmpliFi solutions compatible with my existing network. The documentation - product descriptions, installation instructions, are abundant and easy-to-understand. The MeshPoint is very easy to install/configure.

I purchased this router to use as an extender for my primary Synology Router. It was easy to set up and install. Also I had to do was connect it to AC Power and use the mobile app on my phone to complete the set up. There were some updates available which it download and installed.  It functions well and gives me the extended range I wanted. I would recommend this router as an extender, but if you have more than two network devices to connect you will need a switch device. It only has two network connections, which limits its function as your primary router.

Incorporated the Netgear extender into current mesh network without any problems. Set up was easy. Everything worked first time.
