It does exactly what I need. I have a high end stereo receiver and speakers connected to my iMac computer analog audio output (headphone) jack. The receiver also is connected to several other analog audio sources. I have had persistent issues with hum in the audio from the computer. I tried all sorts of things, floating grounds, reversing plugs etc and nothing worked. putting the HE-18 in line with the computer completely eliminated the hum with no adverse side effects to the audio quality. I really appreciate the flexibility of all the various input and output connections. I now have a convenient extra port where I can plug in headphones for private listening when needed. (Unlike the idiots at Apple who put the headphone jack on the back of the iMac. What were they thinking?) The engineer who designed the HE18 deserves a lot of credit. He really did his homework. 5 |

I bought this receiver for the Bluetooth connectivity. I am now able to play my iTunes songs from the iTunes cloud through my iPhone and the new Receiver to our inside and / or outside speakers - all from my lounge chair. I am handicapped, so this is of great help to me. 5 |

I always had an issue with my turntable that the output volume was ridiculously low... I had to crank the volume on my receiver nearly all the way, and even then it didn't sound right. I got this to place between the record player and the receiver and BOOM it was perfect. This unit is small and easy to keep out of the way. Highly recommend! 5 |
