I am enjoying my Marshall Over-ear Monitor II A.N.C headphones. Lots O'padding, comfortable when I wear my glasses. The Noise cancelling feature is really awesome.

Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones.

I personally don’t get on with in-ear headphones. Over-ear seem too cumbersome as I use mine mainly on dog walks and need to carry them in my pocket sometimes. The Major IV seem to offer the best of both worlds. They are on-ear, yet deliver a really good sound. The design is simple and different to most other headphones available. The battery life is astonishing. I’ve had mine for two weeks now and still haven’t needed to charge them. Really, really pleased with them.

Over the years I have gone through many headphones almost all of which broke. The head band broke or one of the ear pieces broke off. These are extremely well made and virtually unbreakable. More importantly, it has superb sound able to pick up from the lowest frequency to the highest! The sound is very rich, full and clear. Love them!

I recently got my hands on the AKG K371 Over-Ear Oval Closed-Back Studio Headphones and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The sound quality is outstanding, rivaling my higher-priced Sennheiser headphones. The AKG K371 delivers clear, balanced audio, making it an excellent choice for both casual listening and studio work. The design of the headphones is another highlight. With a sleek and smooth aesthetic, they not only provide comfort for extended listening sessions but also add a touch of style. The build quality feels robust, ensuring these headphones can withstand the rigors of daily use. However, it's worth noting that the AKG K371 headphones do not offer significant sound isolation from external noise. While this may not be a deal-breaker for everyone, it's an important consideration if you're planning to use them in noisy environments.

Many would think because they are on the ear head phones they would hurt your ears. I’ve have them on for long periods of time and they never seem to hurt on top of that the sound quality is amazing.

I like to use ear buds for the gym/snowboarding/ and long flights mostly. Over the last 10 years of different shure, sony, and denon headphones these are my favorite. I really like the detachable buds and the controls on the cable.

I got these for personal use and love them so far. They have a fairly neutral sound signature with a slightly warm emphasis and a dip in the highs. This is exactly what I'm into, I don't feel the need to EQ these like many other reviewers seem to. The bass feels very strong and well controlled without being overpowering. Bass heavy songs still sound very bassy, despite the overall neutral sound. As someone who is pretty sensitive to treble and bass, I don't find these fatiguing to listen to for long periods. The first potential drawback I can see with is the weight. These are the heaviest headphones I've personally ever owned, which is due to the all metal construction and also I believe the magnets themselves in planar magnetic headphones are often pretty hefty. I still find these very comfortable to wear for long periods though, the earpads and head strap are great. Another possible drawback is the soundstage: it's ok, but I'd say these are not the headphones to get if super wide soundstage is a high priority. If, for example, positional audio in games is very important to you, these just aren't going to compete with something like the HD800. Overall though, I'm really happy with these for $1200 and plan on using these as my primary headphones for the foreseeable future.
