Over The Ear Headphones Issues

I am enjoying my Marshall Over-ear Monitor II A.N.C headphones. Lots O'padding, comfortable when I wear my glasses. The Noise cancelling feature is really awesome.

Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones.

I personally don’t get on with in-ear headphones. Over-ear seem too cumbersome as I use mine mainly on dog walks and need to carry them in my pocket sometimes. The Major IV seem to offer the best of both worlds. They are on-ear, yet deliver a really good sound. The design is simple and different to most other headphones available. The battery life is astonishing. I’ve had mine for two weeks now and still haven’t needed to charge them. Really, really pleased with them.

Over the years I have gone through many headphones almost all of which broke. The head band broke or one of the ear pieces broke off. These are extremely well made and virtually unbreakable. More importantly, it has superb sound able to pick up from the lowest frequency to the highest! The sound is very rich, full and clear. Love them!

I recently got my hands on the AKG K371 Over-Ear Oval Closed-Back Studio Headphones and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The sound quality is outstanding, rivaling my higher-priced Sennheiser headphones. The AKG K371 delivers clear, balanced audio, making it an excellent choice for both casual listening and studio work. The design of the headphones is another highlight. However, it's worth noting that the AKG K371 headphones do not offer significant sound isolation from external noise. In ear and over ear phones give me issues because I have lots of earwax but these ones don’t have that problem. I can take calls and meetings with ease! And everyone can hear me without issue too. I don’t really listen to music on them, and when my brother tried them out for music, he didn’t like them. I do enjoy my audiobooks on them. They felt a little bit loud at first, and the other day the headphones unexpectedly kept connecting during a meeting, which was louder than the sound of the voices in my meeting. But that’s because I keep my regular volume at less than 50%. I like the fit behind the back of the head. You can’t lay on your back easily while wearing them though because for my head there’s a bit of a gap between the loop and my skull! I appreciate the range on the Bluetooth, as I can use these headphones while helping my son get a snack while simultaneously listening to a work presentation.

I’ve been dealing with some ear issues lately and wanted to stop putting AirPods or other headphones inside of my ear. I don’t like over the ear headphones because they are huge and bulky. I found these and I love how I can still hear and talk on the phone, but without a headphone inside of my ear canal, they fit well and aren’t loose. I’m aware of my surroundings.

Over the ear work great for me. Sounds great also. No complaints.

Very nice over the ear headphones. I’m still learning how to use them, but so far, I really like them!

Great for studio and for field monitor use. Over the ear design eliminates most of the surrounding noise. Comfortable to wear for a couple of hours at a time. Excellent sound quality. Excellent headphones for the money.
