Overhead Headphones With Mic

got this for use with overhead mic, great quality for price.

I love this thing. When I am doing interviews, I prefer to put a boom mic overhead instead of doing a lav. So with this, I am easily able to attach my Rode Video Mic Pro to it (as it is designed to fit on it) and I can go. I recently put an Oben Ballhead on the end so I can articulate the Mic in whatever direction I need it to go. But as it is, it's a wonderful Boom Pole for those who need something low in price, effective and professional looking. I actually carry it in my Tripod bag.

I am a drummer and bought two of these mics for my overhead mic setup. They pick up the instrumentation very well...better than I thought. No tom mics, just snare, bass drum mics and overheads for the recording I was doing and the final product came out very well.

Perfect for key light for sit-down interviews. I also use it to boom a mic overhead when needed.

Excellent mic and headphones for the money

I know that it is overkill, but I bought this to support a Matthews Mini-boom that I used for an overhead mic in video shoots. The stand is rock-solid and feels like it will last forever. It moves smoothly in any direction and the wheel-locks are first rate. I have a feeling I'll find a need for a few more of these as I expand my studio.

This c-stand is well constructed and pretty heavy. I got it to mount a boom mic and occasional overhead LED light, so I’m happy it’s nice and heavy. Like any C-Stand, you definitely need some sandbags if you are going to be booming a light overhead. Also, if you want to put your light on the end of the boom arm, you will need to pick up a baby pin, which I found here on B&H for $7.

I've been using cheaper overhead mics for my video production company for years . . . generally, the audio was good, but never crisp . . . this mic has changed everything! Professional, tight, clear microphone. This is a pro mic and at a great price.
