I use this drive as backup for editing. My main editing source is a 4 TB OWC Mercury Elite. The G Raids are clone of my main drive, so if it fails, I can always go to my G Raids and edit from there without having to waste any time while I troubleshoot or repair my main drive. 5 |

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on. 5 |

I had and older Buffalo CD, DVD, and BD-R Reader/Writer that was rated at 1/4 the speed of the OWC Mercury Pro External USB 3.0. Additionally the OWC Mercury cost over a $100 less. I also am impressed with the aluminum housing that encases this device. 5 |

I bought the Mac mini because it was on sale for $499 and I combined it with a OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual & (2) 12 Terabyte hard drives to create a backup server/share drive for my family. I had thought about upgrading my 2016 Hackintosh with a new motherboard to do the same thing, but the Mac Mini was cheaper and far more reliable. 5 |
