With the small footprint of USB powered drive, it brings 5TB capacity with affordable price. This is just right for backups. It is 5400 drive, do not expect 7200 speed or SSD for raw video editing application.

Love this dual USB-C and USB-A design on one small but large-capacity drive. Great for transferring data between machines of different generations and with limited ports, without needing extra dongles/adapters. At first I cared that one one end is always exposed. Now I don't.

The drive is simply a great drive. The cable connects firmly, the drive is small, it has a large capacity, and is fairly light weight. The USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0 making it versatile and future proof. There really isn't any rugged protection but as long as you keep it in a backpack pocket or similar you should be all set. I reformatted mine for a Mac very easily.

This is one of the first, truly USB 3.0 compatible larger capacity, small size flash drives. This is excellent hardware and a great time saver. I use this for transfering/sharing relatively large music and/or photographic files.
