I have been a professional saxophonist for nearly 35 years, and I have not found a better stand to hold my baby. The K&M has ended my search for a stand that is both portable and sturdy. It fits nicely into the bell of the instrument with the included storage bag, and is just as stable and safe as some of the more bulky professional stands. I've had other portable in-the-bell stands and have experienced tip-overs (which can be VERY costly to a saxophonist). This stand does it all!... I have ended my search. The cost is higher than some other portable stands out there, but the cost savings in repairs more than makes up for it. (Very reasonably priced when put in those terms).
