This is a great little unit that can do independent or stereo 4 track recording with xlr inputs. It can also be adjusted for line level input as well as microphone level input. I use the DR-70D for all types of productions, including Broadcast, Commercial, Industrial, and Corporate work.

I got this to record music and theater performances, and its the perfect tool for the job. The sound quality is great, and It gives an outstanding stereo separation.  It really makes my recordings sound like I know what I am doing. It pairs perfectly with my Zoom F4 recorder, which combines the left and right feeds into a single stereo track.  And as a bonus, it lets me record a separate stereo track at a different level.  Thats perfect for live performances where I cant be at the recorder to set levels; I set a loud level and a quiet level, and I always have one that is right.
