Panasonic G3 Mirrorless Camera

I am using this lens with my Panasonic G3 camera. It is a really nice lens, now one of the best I own. It is sharp, and takes photos with nice depth. It is also very good for indoor low light shots, and has great depth of field. It has become the main lens I keep on my camera.

Works perfect with my Panasonic Lumix GH5 II Mirrorless Camera!

Let me start by saying that there is no perfect unicorn camera, but this camera presents itself as a next wave, mirrorless powerhouse. Panasonic upgraded this camera from the GH5 family in so many ways. The list of features all deliver and the look of the image is just incredible. I have used it on a few shoots and have not been afraid to use any of its video quality settings. I have no fear of overheating and the unlimited record limit keeps my mind on my shots and not the camera. Some things on it could still be better (I'm not going to say it), but it is a big improvement from the GH5. Also, in a time when camera manufacturers can easily get greedy, Panasonic obviously chose to keep the price at a point that makes sense.

I have used a variety of mirrorless cameras, starting with Sony A7s and A7rII and then the GH5 and most recently the Canon EOS R. The only camera that Ive held on to long-term is the GH5, so I was very excited when I heard Panasonic was releasing a full-frame mirrorless camera. Now that it has arrived, it is truly the most professional, robust, and beautiful mirrorless camera Ive used.  To complement my GH5, I wanted a full-frame mirrorless as well. I bought and tested out the Canon EOS R, but found it frustrating ergonomically and with hindered video specs (big crops, no stabilization, etc), it required a lot of compromises. It took beautiful images, but for video (which is what I mostly do), the GH5 outperformed it in every way.  Next to the EOS R (and definitely all the Sonys), the Panasonic S1 feels like a true professional camera. Its a bit heavier than the other mirrorless cameras, but since I mainly use Sigmas 24-70, 18-35, or 50-100mm, once you have the lenses on there, its not a huge difference. Its actually more comfortable because the grip is so nicely designed.  REALLY looking forward to the 10-bit, V-Log update in a couple of months as well as the Sigma EF L adapter in a few weeks. Will really help make this camera shine.  With Sigma officially on board to make a lens collection and with Panasonics track record of amazing lenses, the L-Mount and Panasonics full frame cameras will be the system to beat in the near future.

I brought this card for my Panasonic Lumix GH6 Mirrorless Camera, it works great, however what I did not know is that 4K recording is only giving you about 42 mins recording time.

This strap has been great for my Panasonic mirrorless camera. It's convenient to stash when traveling and is very comfortable when wearing. Highly recommend!

I'm using this with a Panasonic G3. the only other lens I had for the camera was the Panasonic 20mm. I also have an adapter to use Nikon lenses with micro four thirds. The 20mm is incredible, and this 42.5mm is incredible too. It's my first image stabilized lens and the IS is effective. The lens is so small and light, but a f/1.7, and it focuses quickly. Seems comparably sharp as my 20mm, but it comes with a hood, and is quite a bit narrower. I still can't get over how small these micro four thirds systems can be while still providing very good image quality. I plan on taking the G3 with the 42.5, 20, and 12-32 lenses for travel. I keep my Nikon D300s with 17-55 and SB700s and transceivers for shooting with wireless flash because I think the flash system is superior to other systems, but it is so heavy I will not take that on vacation.

This is definitely a top-of-the-line lens and a wonderful addition to the collection of lenses for my Panasonic Lumix G3. Images are tack-sharp with little or no optical aberrations. This is a highly useful lens for landscape photography.

I purchased the Nikon package for the D200 and VERCCP1 cable to operate a Panasonic G3. Equipment works fine with both systems.

I am using these on Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 with Panasonic 100-300 lens. Quality construction with a nice, tight fit. They function perfectly.
