Panasonic Window Air Conditioners

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. Arrived right in the delivery window, customer service from B&H is great as always.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a lifesaver especially during the summer when everyone is blasting their fans and air conditioners and risking outages. I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped.

I used it for my last trip through the U.S. by Bus. I attached it at the Window with my Panasonic SD300, and I got to say the Footage looks really smooth and good.

We purchased an Eve Weather Station, and a Logitech Circle View week ago for monitoring our pet's room a week ago. Since we only had a couple of window air conditioners available as heat wave was starting, and could not leave room door open, we wanted a way to check in on our dear pet and make sure the room was not getting too hot for their health. Prior to this purchase, we had never made use of Apple's HomeKit technology and were completely ignorant of how it worked. Setup was very easy and quick. In addition to the Home app on our phones, we also downloaded the Eve app (this is not required per se, but may be to allow for firmware updates to the Eve Weather Station when made available). The app provides nice graphing for tracking trends or pinpointing historical readings, for example the difference in temperature before and after we added weather sealing to the window around the air conditioner. We were very happy with how easily this worked out, so we purchased several more and have distributed them throughout our living spaces. We are curious to look into seeing if we can also download the data as backup for later analysis as we experiment with other experiments and changes and attempts to manage heat and cooling. (This is a very old place with original, single-pane windows, there is very little insulating, and a southern exposure!)

My new iPad air 2 hangs around the kitchen mostly (we have a great bay window there) and I use it for cooking as well as when my granddaughter comes to play with it. The base is very secure, even on a glass tabletop, and I can make the pad face completely towards the ceiling for cooking, but also adjust it for other uses. Adjustments are seemingly infinite and secure. I do not imagine I would have to repurchase it, it is very sturdy. Although the backstrap for holding up the iPad during presentations seems a but unnecessary for my purposes, I can se where it would be useful.

Ive been  using my version 1 Zhiyun Crane gimbal since it came out. It has worked great for my Panasonic GH4/5/5s bodies. Unfortunately, I hated the attachment system, and the fact that I had to keep taking the cage off of my bodies to use it. It served its purpose though. When the Ronin-S came out, I was so tempted to purchase it immediately, but something told me to hold out. After reading so many negative reviews on it (and its peculiar recent price drop), Im glad I waited. Of course, the Moza Air 2 is a new model as well, but something was different about this one. After reading up on it and finding as many reviews as I could, I decided it was the best option to upgrade. After receiving it the other day from B&H, I took it out on my first job and it didnt let me down. All I can say is - WOW. Smooth operation all the way. I wont go into all of the features here, but lets just say its leaps and bounds better than my old Zhiyun. Im kind of bummed though that I cant pull focus with my Panasonic bodies without the focus pull motor, but I couldnt do that with my previous gimbal either, so Im used to the lack of this feature. I may get the motor one day though. Well see. Needless to say, the Air 2 is much heavier than the Zhiyun. I was pretty tired after the recent job, but you just have to deal with that part. Hit the gym if your arms are struggling! After two hours of continuous use, the battery level indicator didnt even budge. I did have to buy a 2.5mm extension cable in order to attach the data cable from the gimbal to the camera since my cage assembly made the camera a tad too far from the gimbal data port. Updating the firmware couldnt be easier, and the Android app is pretty neat. I doubt Ill use it much though. If anything comes up in the near future, Ill update this post. I definitely recommend this gimbal to anyone needing one!

I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!
