Panavision 70Mm Digital Camera

This is my first digital long-zoom lens (have been using a wide angle 24-70mm until now). This Sigma lens lives up to its reputation. I'm already enjoying it for distance shots, of birds, etc., as well as macro when I'm out in nature, and am extremely pleased with the results. Can't wait to get out and experiment more with it. B&H is a great company!!

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

I have been a cameraman for over 40 years and have been using Arri, Panavision, Worral, O'Connor, Satchler and Ronford heads over the years with 35mm movie cameras. Now I shoot with DSLR cameras and this little head provides me with nearly all the features I need for a fraction of the price. The legs are sturdy with a built in spreader and clip on carpet feet as well as spikes for outdoor terrain. The head has smooth pan and tilt with a counterbalance Spring mechanism. The whole kit fits into an attractive weatherproof carrying case. Great value for money.

True 2x anamorphic with Panavision C style look. T2 a little soft, but truly unique character. High build quality. Wish there was a way to add lens data via the mount. /i data.

Do you want that epic Panavision look without the epic Panavision prices? This lens is for you! There is minimal chromatic aberration when the F stop is wide open, slightly closing it will clear it right up. The focus is spot on with minimal horizontal softness after the de-squeez. Every shot looks like an epic movie. You cant go wrong with this lens.

This bag is super underrated. I've had it for about 6-months now and it's better than the Panavision AC bag that everyone has. The only gripe I have is how tight the exterior bottle holders are (it will fit canned air but it's an extremely tight fit). The bag is also very large around the same size as Panavision and once you start to fit all your AKS it can get very heavy, but it can hold everything you need as an AC! I've also included a photo with the 3 popular AC bags I've seen on set: SHAPE, O'Connor, & Panavision (Large) for comparison.

I needed an extra 4x4 graduated ND. Most of my ND Grads are Panavision size. But I have a smaller 4x4 filter box for a smaller matte box. This Cavision is a great add to my 4x4 collection.

I bought this Pelican Case so I can substitute my Big AC Panavision bag. This is the perfect solution for a unit bag since everythin is super tidy because of the hard case.
