Panoramic Digital Camera Canon

Used as a base for digital cameras (Nikon D300 and D700) for studio and landscape work. Very solid + reliable, and easy to adjust. Not particularly small so not well suited to field work requiring a lot of carrying given the overall size / weight, but extremely reliable and does an excellent job providing a firm base for long exposure landscape shots. Also works very well as a base for panoramic shots either alone (using the built in bubble levels) or with a panoramic accessory like a Nodal Ninja. Not as flexible for rapid-action sports shots requiring rapid movement along 3-axis, but still recommended for everything else.

I use the on my Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera works good. all is well.

Its become and esencial part of my panoramic kit for Canon 7D. Very well buid - exactly what you would expect from Manfrotto. If you use Manfrotto-type gear and tripod -RC2 is a must have.

I use this with a Canon printer to print panoramic images. I first generated a profile using the Data Color Studio Package, but you could probably use a Canon generic profile and tweek it by trial and error. My printer can only use 8 1/2 wide so I cut length wise and adjust the custom paper size to 8 1/2 X 22 I normally use Ilford Galerie Pearl and this is very close to that. When I print from LR4 I soft proof and the Epson has a similar gamut, both are wide and require minor color/sat/luminance adjustments.

I bought this product exclusively for spherical panoramic photography and used with my Canon 7D i can cover the whole sphere in only 5 photos. The image quality of this lens is outstanding and the lens comes with a strong and durable little holder or case to protect it against bumps and knox when storing it

For true panoramic use you need to add these components to your ball head: - A Panoramic Base Head Clamp (see attached link. Without this your ball head panoramic rotation is only true when your tripod is perfectly level by mean of it's leg setup. With this additional head clamp you can also do vertical panorama. - A nodal rail, so your lens is pivoting on it's nodal point.

I love this camera it is the best of the best for a digital camera.
