Paper Shoot Camera Protection For Underwater

I used this for an underwater maternity shoot & it worked amazing!

The extra protection on the camera is great especially underwater. I just don't feel safe with my go pro exposed so this cover is perfect for that. And also it includes a skeleton backdoor so if it's not under water, this is great because you can still have protection and access the back screen. Nice job go pro.

If you are looking for an easy to use and no maintenance underwater point and shoot camera, this is the one. It's solid like a rock but feel comfortable in hand. It's fixed focus so no more struggles for focusing the right target. The snorkeling white balance preset generated quite accurate colors. And the picture quality is very good. It's easy to mount on a monopod to extend the reach for video. All in all it's an excellent travel underwater camera that can generate good results yet adding minimal load to your luggage. The attached photos are frame grab from the HD videos (about 2MB resolution). It's far from the normal single shot picture quality so this is for reference only.

This is my first sport action camera. Exploring features and capabilities this camera model. One of these days I'll try to shoot underwater. Thanks.

Took a chance on this battery as a backup to our Nikon Coolpix point and shoot underwater camera as there were no previous reviews on it. It seems to hold a charge for a decent amount of time and works perfectly well.

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures.

My Fathom Wide-Angle lens was delivered by ... without any serious protection (a piece of cloth strapped with a rubber band) so my first move was to look for a protection above and underwater. It's easy to bang an underwater video rig when getting in or out of the water, or even on the boat...This hood perfectly fits the bill. It's a very good protection against most involuntary shocks, it folds easily in a dry or wetsuit pocket (or just slit under the belt of my BC). It takes some learning to slide it underwater while holding the housing, but that's fine.... SHOULD provide this hood with the Fathom lens they sell for so many dollars!

I originally bought this for better underwater protection, but on a recent mountain bike trip to Whistler, I thought that it would also be a good idea to put this on for some extra protection as I was filming my entire ride. I had the gopro mounted to my handle bars, and in the event of a crash it could have very easily been destroyed. Luckily I did not crash, but it gave me comfort knowing if I had, the case would have taken the brunt of the damage.
