The darkroom paper works well, and I would absolutely buy it again. I noticed that B&H packaged it with lots of filler to prevent it from flying around the large box. A smaller box would make more sense and probably cost you less, but hey, you got it to me on time and intact. 5 |

I use the backdrop to photograph children. I set it up as a fake room and the paper becomes the wall. I got a piece of baseboard from someone who was just throwing it away and I'm working on getting a section of wood flooring but for now am using the carpet. You can see examples of the set up on @ (that's where I got the idea). It is so much fun and looks very clean and simple. One draw back is that when I pull the paper out and use it for both floor and backdrop, it crinkles because of the carpet underneath but if you have hard floors that won't be an issue. 5 |

I wasn't sure I would like this, as I feared it would be like fake fabric texture. But of the several types of photo paper I have on hand, I find I reach for this one most often, both because the colors seem to come out true without a lot of adjustment, and the nice quality and weight it provides. I use this paper to print photo cards for friends, printing 4 to an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet. Cut in half with paper cutter, each half folded in half, makes a very respectable card. I send these inside semi-transparent vellum envelopes. The photos show through the vellum just enough to make what I think is a pretty special mailing. Best to use a Sharpie (fine point) for addressing, so it shows up over the muted photo. 5 |
