I've tried various matte textured archival inkjet papers and this is my favorite. It's the same as Somerset Velvet printmaking paper, except that it's prepared to accept Epson Ultrachrome inks. It doesn't chip or show fingerprints easily, which are two important features in its favor compared to other matte textured papers, and is reasonably priced compared to those others. However, color management is a little more challenging than with glossy paper. 5 |

I have been scanning tax and other documents and then shredding them to free up space in our safe. I've been using an Epson flatbed scanner until I purchased the DS-410. I would have taken me at least 30 minutes to scan what I've just finished but with the DS-410, less than 5 minutes. And the DS-410 can do both sides at the same time and save as .pdf file. 5 |
