Parallel Construction On A Paper

Paper is fine for construction drawings, easy to load and use.

I like it. - Wrecks the price/performance curve, especially for parallel scenarios. - CPU cooler looks good and is a lot more capable than others, especially OEM ones. - Attaching the heatsink to the motherboard was a little tight but not bad. - Does require a motherboard with compatible BIOS, which not all B-chipset motherboards have out of the factory. I decided to spend more for an X570 motherboard which all support Ryzen 3000 CPUs out of the box. Otherwise, you have to hope a B450 motherboard has a new enough BIOS version from the factory, or you need a spare older AM4 CPU to let you upgrade the BIOS first.

Works just as you'd want it to; parallel outputs give incredible flexibility to any rig. The durable design will have you using this product hard and well for years, and the high-res output ensures it won't get outpaced any time soon. Always impressed with BlackMagic Design

Though annoying because of the design to be a serial charger instead of a parallel charger, the power draw of a parallel charger would eliminate the ability to charge via car adapter, and in some cases, without tripping your house breaker.

Great platform for small ball heads and other gear. Excellent machining and flat parallel faces with satin finish. Knurled edge provides excellent purchase, but two holes are provided for additional leverage. They are about .625in deep and will accept a pin (nail, allen key, etc.) with a diameter about 0.14in. Disc height (thickness) is 6mm.

Portable and practical. You can use it as a coat hanger for your model's out fit or you can place a parallel bar between two light stands. All up to your need and imagination to use it.

As another reviewer wrote, it doesn't quite line up parallel with the camera. Seems the silver one and the 100th anniversary (no longer available) do a better job of it. Little to complain about; it performs its simple task and looks cool doing it. BTW, the female threaded silver backing allows it to be used as a lapel pin--why anyone would use it as such, escapes me. That's why it's included.

If you're serious about color, you should definitely purchase this. Working without it and working with it is parallel to riding a bicycle compared to driving a car. You'll wonder how you ever worked without it.
