Very easy set up and outstanding apps for management and Children's internet usage. 5 |

I bought it for my NAS setup and it works as intended. Wish it has wifi capabilities for management apps though. Connecting with through USB type A cable to manage it isn't very convenient for home office setting. 5 |

Hook up cable, connect to Mac, password update, firmware check, call ISP, disconnect from Mac, connect to router, and done, 10 minutes tops. 5 |

When it comes to attached storage solutions for audio and video editing this is the best option I have used yet, and I have tried a lot. I primarily use a Mac Studio at this time as my revision 5,1 Mac Pro's have pretty much been retired at this point. A Mac Studio is great but lacks the storage capacity to be able to house data. After trying a plethora of external devices I ordered this Flex 8 and have to say, this thing has some power. I installed four 10TB NAS hard drives I had as a backup in a Raid array in an existing Mercury Rack Pro (USB 3.1, so I wanted to replace that for performance purposes) and then I added three 18TB NAS drives in a RAID array. That gave me 30TB of usable space on the first array and 36TB on the 2nd. Then I added an OWC Shuttle with four 4TB memory modules and I combined those into a RAID array as well, giving me 16TB of usable space. This one tower now provides me with 82TB of space and gets rid of all of the external drives and devices I had connected to my MAC Studio. Regarding performance, it's flawless. I am editing off the 16TB array which is blazing fast. I couldn't be happier with a device as I am with this one. The best part is the PCIE slot which is available for use. I'm looking forward to experimenting with that in the near future. This has really completed my edit bay setup as well as offered me a solid solution for data management. I highly recommend this unit for localized data management. It is very powerful and very well thought out. I also do like the software version as it puts the control at your fingertips. I hops this review helps someone looking for data management solutions. 5 |

This is for both work and personal use. WIth Parallels installed I can run the Windows apps I need from within the Mac. Plus I gain the OS X ease of use. 5 |

Use for Mac Apps as well as virtual PC Windows 11 apps using Parallels. All apps seem much faster than with Intel i9 or Xeon 8 and 10 core processors at similar clock speeds on other Macs. Nice feature is that all my old x86 and x64 apps for windows could be installed and run under the ARM64 Windows 11. My old Mac apps for Intel also run smoothly with the Apple Silicon. Adobe Acrobat running on the Intel Mac was consuming 80GB of virtual memory and was limited by 64GB real memory, causing memory page exchanges with the disk and slow performance. This 128GB memory does not seem to be slowed by the huge memory consumption of that app since it retains zippy performance even after hours of editing. 5 |

This is my third Mac mini. It replaced my 2017 27-inch 5K iMac. I paired it with two LG Ultrafine 4K displays. One of the first things I did after getting it setup was install my Adobe Creative Cloud apps. This Mac mini runs Photoshop and Illustrator quickly and with zero lag. It also runs more than one VM in Parallels desktop at the same time with zero lag and without heating up to the point where I hear its internal fan spinning up. My use cases for this Mac mini have been with creative apps and with running macOS and Window virtual machines. For anyone who needs a lot of processing power this Mac mini will fit that need easily. It drives two 4K displays seamlessly. There is no lag. I opted for the M2 Pro model because I wanted to buy the best for my investment. I knew I would use this computer for a lot of things. I wanted the best possible performance. I think anyone would love this Mac mini no matter what their use case is. 5 |

to the drive for use between laptop and mac which has maxed out for system software but has apps I like to use including Word. Was able to transfer massive photo archive and artist portfolio. Additional purchase of Longer USB helpful. Thanks. 5 |

Fairly easy to set up and transfer data from old Mac to the new Mac. only problem was that a couple of my old apps were no longer compatible with the newer operating system on the new Mac so I had to re-purchase the up to date versions on a couple of my apps. Also transferring the email app was easy but I had to re-enter the settings on the new Mac for the email to work. Apple Support was helpful and quick in getting that set-up for me in a short phone call. This Mac Mini is wonderfully fast and easy to use. As a photographer I use Photoshop a lot and the graphics software in the computer are totally up to the standard I require for my professional work. 5 |

This M2 Pro Mini (16GB / 1 TB) replaced a "family use" 2015 Intel iMac that was maddeningly slow - no matter what I did to improve it. I also have a Mac M1 Max Studio with 32GB etc etc. And this little Mini feels as fast; apps, photos, videos, (most) websites and documents seem to open as quickly. It's a bit slower on a number of Photoshop and Davinci routines, but at less than 1/2 the price of the Studio, it's entitled. As always, best performance is produced with native Mac OS versions of apps. (Avoid Rosetta.) And it's barely warm after heavy use. This is the best Apple and Mac value since I bought the first ones for our businesses in 1984! 5 |
