Password Management For Mac And Iphone

Works great but the app requires periodic password input from my iPhone instead of touch

Hook up cable, connect to Mac, password update, firmware check, call ISP, disconnect from Mac, connect to router, and done, 10 minutes tops.

When it comes to attached storage solutions for audio and video editing this is the best option I have used yet, and I have tried a lot. I primarily use a Mac Studio at this time as my revision 5,1 Mac Pro's have pretty much been retired at this point. A Mac Studio is great but lacks the storage capacity to be able to house data. After trying a plethora of external devices I ordered this Flex 8 and have to say, this thing has some power. I installed four 10TB NAS hard drives I had as a backup in a Raid array in an existing Mercury Rack Pro (USB 3.1, so I wanted to replace that for performance purposes) and then I added three 18TB NAS drives in a RAID array. That gave me 30TB of usable space on the first array and 36TB on the 2nd. Then I added an OWC Shuttle with four 4TB memory modules and I combined those into a RAID array as well, giving me 16TB of usable space. This one tower now provides me with 82TB of space and gets rid of all of the external drives and devices I had connected to my MAC Studio. Regarding performance, it's flawless. I am editing off the 16TB array which is blazing fast. I couldn't be happier with a device as I am with this one. The best part is the PCIE slot which is available for use. I'm looking forward to experimenting with that in the near future. This has really completed my edit bay setup as well as offered me a solid solution for data management. I highly recommend this unit for localized data management. It is very powerful and very well thought out. I also do like the software version as it puts the control at your fingertips. Works as Described. Awesome if you want to pair your Rode Mic with an iPhone or Mac.

Works great and the only thing I had to set up was the option to have a password to protect it if someone else tries to use it.

Easy setup. Easy to change WiFi name and password. Easy to use the app.

If you lose the spotlight password, the instructions do not tell you how to reset the password

This is my first ever personal Mac and after tons of research I decided to get this one. It's so fast and very responsive, and I like the linking of the Mac to the iPhone if you sign in with your Apple ID. Makes things so much easier! The only downside was my monitor kept displaying static. However, when I did some research I found out that supposedly the Mac Mini prefers HDMI to USB-c for monitors rather than HDMI to HDMI. I got an adapter and haven't had the problem since! So just keep this in mind when purchasing. Overall, great product!!

I bought the Mac Mini for web development and iPhone app development. It works well with my USB docking station (after a minor hiccup) so I can use my existing dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, external speakers, and headset. No issues so far and it’s fast for what I need it for.
