Password Manager Hardware Key

This encrypted flash drive allows you to create a password (7 - 16 digits) that needs to be entered to access it's contents. No device will recognize this flash drive unless the password is entered first. Though there is a simple set of instructions included on how to set Admin and User passwords, I found them a little difficult to follow. The manufacturer, Apricorn, has a YouTube channel. I recommend beginning with the video: Aegis Secure Key 3.0 Tutorial 1: GETTING STARTED. Apricorn's YouTube channel also has easy to follow instructions on how to use the advanced security features of this drive. Once the drive is set up and you are able to open it, the Aegis Secure Key has a user manual in several different languages loaded on it. The Aegis Secure Key drive has a metal body and an internal rechargeable battery. It comes formatted for use on PCs and Android smart televisions. It comes with a thick rubber case that the drive slides into. I've only had mine for a two weeks. But haven't encountered any problems with it. I recommend the Apricorn Aegis Secure Key.

Even with my hardware security key, which is much appreciated. Rubber casing actually doesn't feel cheap either, for people who are interested in that sort of thing.

Single Pro 3 SE setup w/ an ASM Desktop on a K&M stacker. Also using the K&M Universal Holder for a 12.9 iPad Pro. I could easily use this for a 88 key and used the stacker for a 49 key synth. The Omega is overkill for my setup. I use it sitting down, so I can’t comment on its stability fully extended. As it is, it will be used long after I’m gone. Couple of thoughts… The Jaspers 170 rack I have is good stuff, but Thromann’s does not have a presence in the US. For instance, I tried to buy an extension and iPad holder for my Jaspers but the shipping costs more than the hardware. Thromann’s will only ship UPS International Express. I asked. Buying from K&N from B&H allowed me add functionality without having to pay double because of ‘difficult’ shipping policies. The Omega is terrific piece of hardware. To me, this is what I have come to expect from German engineering. It is strong, it makes sense, and even though I have been questioned about some of my other purchases from the GDR (over the years), dollar for dollar, it performs flawlessly.

Works great and the only thing I had to set up was the option to have a password to protect it if someone else tries to use it.

Easy setup. Easy to change WiFi name and password. Easy to use the app.

If you lose the spotlight password, the instructions do not tell you how to reset the password

I wish this came with the hardware kit. I am not sure why it is not provided with it.

For those of us with vintage hardware, this is a must.
