I'm not the best at understanding flash drive transfer rate science but I do know that when I use Patriot drives they work faster than other brands of drives, usually but not always. The build and designs on the Patriot drives are top notch quality and of course they do what they are suppose to do, store and move data in and out. After many years of trying to find flash drives that would work faster, not get hot while connected and show positive signs of speedy data transfer I truly have settled on Patriot as the go-to best of the industry.

This flash drive is the largest in my inventory. Having 256GB available is quite useful. Works flawlessly.

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

I bought the 256gb USB 3.0 and love using it as my everyday carry USB drive. I have no complaints at all! I will most likely buy 3-4 more of these in the near future.

I got the Kingston D500S 256GB Ironkey USB drive to back up my critical files, and this is by far the best encrypted drive on the market! I use both Mac and Windows, and I love how the software is built into this USB drive so I don't have to install extra apps, etc.

No complaints. Use it to connect a 256GB USB drive to a Smart TV to watch videos.

I purchased 2 SanDisk 256GB Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB 3.1 Flash Drive (USB Type-C / Type-A) I use these flash drives as another back-up device so these drives have to be very reliable over the long term.  They’re a bit slippery so I may add some tape or other for some thumb grip/feel. Other than that, they are performing perfectly for me. And I trust buying electronics from B&H.
