Pc Case With Optical Drive

I am new to building PC with aftermarket cooler. Needed a wider case for DeepCool AK 620 which fit just fine. Case is very nice and allows more flexibility than I'm used to for cable routing and storage mounting options. Also mounted an optical drive at bottom front. When I put the magnetic cover over the optical drive it hits the button to open the tray. Not a big deal to me. Had a question about plugging 3 pin case fans into 4 pin connectors on motherboard but Fractal never responded to my ticket. Figured it out on YouTube. Would buy again. 5 |

I got it to preserve the use of a 5.25 drive in a new PC case with no optical drive slot. (The drive has old firmware, that allows playing of UHD BluRay disks.) I found the USB cable that came with it to be a bit short (24, 60cm). If you get a replacement, be sure to get the high bandwidth A/B type. 5 |

Case has a vibrant yet not off putting orange interior with the rgb fans adding a nice touch. Best part of the case is the hidden optical drive bay at the front bottom, really makes it a hidden gem as a case that I highly recommend to all. 2 downsides are that my personal optical drive has a protruding open button so the cover sometimes hits it making it hard to put it back without powering off my pc. Other downside is that the USB-C option is not included, it is a separate add-on, while I don't intend to use it it'd be a nice thing to include even if it would raise the price by $5. I can't complain too much, got it as a steal when it was on sale. 5 |

I was looking for a case that would be shorter than my current case to allow clearance for the bigger antennas on my new WiFi router that sits on top. The dimensions of this case fit my requirement perfectly. What wasn't clear to me is if it would accommodate my optical drive (Blu-ray burner). I was pleasantly surprised to find that it does! The optical drive and storage drawer sit behind the magnetic panel on the lower front of the unit. The icing on the cake is how much quieter my PC is! The design and built quality is very high with plenty of room for neat wiring runs. 5 |

I purchased this external optical drive because my case doesnt have a spot for an optical drive. Its super great to use to watch movies with and its so light and thin. I really like how simple it is to hook up and operate. Just plug in the provided usb cable and the drive powers on then just press the button to open it and push the drawer back in to close it. 5 |

I needed a case that would support an optical drive that wasn't pre 2006 and this case was perfect. It has snug feeling hdd trays and a nice functional glass side panel. The cable management was more than adequate and since I haven't built a pc in over a decade I found the improvements abound. I know this is a budget case but it doesn't need to be. The front panel is the only thing that looks dated on it and it's mostly because of the optical drive... Which was my only real requirement of the case. Good value for money. 5 |

Finally replaced a 15+ year old tower case, and I refused to get rid of my optical drive. It was very difficult to find a case that still included a space for an optical drive, and the added bonus of this case is that the magnetic cover hides the very dated facing of the drive - so I didn't have to worry about it looking out of place or not matching. 5 |

I'm using this as a removable HD for diaster backup. I keep the drive in our safe in a hardrive storage case waiting for the inevitable PC failure. Solidly built drive, plenty fast for this use and I assume will outlast me and my PC. 5 |

Windows Media Center PC in a low profile case only had 1 slot for a 3.5 hard drive. I wanted to store my recorded TV (PVR) to a larger capacity hard drive but maintain my Windows 7 to a smaller SSD. This was the ideal way to get both the SSD and larger laptop hard drive into 1 space. 5 |
