Display port to HDMI on a new office pc to allow the use of the second screen

This adapter works great if you have a Display Port connector on your PC and are connecting to a display with an HDMI input. I was looking for one without a locking Display Port connector. The picture online shows it without a lock, but it does have one. You have to press a button to remove it from the jack

Bough the monitor almost two months ago, have not had any issues with the monitor at all, currently only using HDMI until I can get my wife's PC completed and then I can see how Display port looks at the full MHz refresh rate, but just on the HDMI it has a crisp picture quality, and no issues displaying games, or playing media which is what we bought it for

I purchased this specific UPS because I needed a master switch that would turn off accessories once my PC was turned off. It's actually becoming quite difficult to find UPS of this kind; they're mostly just straight UPS, with no master switch. The first thing I noticed and appreciated about this UPS is how the battery is installed; it comes disconnected from the factory, as expected. However, to connect it, you have to slide it out of the slot, flip it over, and reinsert it. That's it. No faffy plugs to work with. The other thing I really appreciate is the display. The buttons are lit up, so I can see what they are from under the desk. One display function is the absolute power draw in watts. The UPS is rated for 865W, and my whole setup as connected (PC+single monitor+audio) draws a peak of 540-600W. Testing the UPS by unplugging the power cord works beautifully, and has audio alerts. It also alerts the PC through the data port. It's odd that the control wire is USB, but the data port at the UPS side is RJ-45. The cable is provided in the box.

I have a laptop docking station (display port, dvi) and a PC (dvi, dvi) connected to the switch. the switch is then connected to one monitor via dvi, and the other via a dvi-hdmi cable. My docking station requires an adapter for the display port. I am having no issues switching between the two. The PC and laptop goes to sleep just as it did before using the switch.� One thing that is a bit odd is the monitor that is connected via the dvi-hdmi cable will randomly come on even if neither the PC or laptop is on. Not a big deal, I just turn the monitor off when I am done using it.

Display port to hdmi cable works great to broadcast pc to tv, easy to hook up to hdmi on tv and display port on pc.

This is a perfect must have. Especially since my gaming laptop didn't have a Standard Display Port and I was in a dire need more a mini display port to display port cable

Connection second display to Dell PC.

I was able to attach three monitors to my Dell Inspiron 17 - 3780 Laptop but I needed two display port to HDMI cables to attach my two HDMI monitors - and when connecting to the Display Ports the one HDMI out on the docking station replicates one of the Display Port outputs... combined with using the HDMI out on my laptop and the screen of my laptop I have four monitors now - it would have been nice to attach five if the HDMI out on the docking station wasn't replicating one of the display port outputs... In any case, the universal dock has been rock solid so far.
