Pc Part Compatibility Test

Purchased to allow my Wimberly F-6 to an F-1 for use without the Sidekick. Since it is part of the F-1, there are no compatibility issues.

After 7 months of use, I am really satisfied with this CPU, my friend have 9700K, and I test it in my PC in on three games, 9700K was better by 1-2 FPS only in two games, while the third one was equal. I don't recommended to go for OC, unless you are using it for Projects or for Workshop, but for gaming the results aren't that much different.

Was able to get it up and running in very little time, printing test page and doing copies. BUT I could not get my PC to see it no matter what I tried. Had to enter my router password into the printer (a ridiculous 16 character-all capitals as it was originally set by provider). This is TOUGH to do as you have to scroll through all the numbers and lowercase to uppercase for each character! It prints fast and produces very clear output. Have since printed from other PC and cel phone.

Easy installation, it passed my PC's bios test and 1 week installed -so far great performance.

I have used APC Back-UPS for over 10 years with various home computers. The batteries do need to be changed at some point around 3-4 years. APC is up front about this. My current Back-UPS CS 500 sits next to my Dell Inspiron quad PC, filters line problems, self-tests, powers after commercial power is removed, and even shuts down my PC gracefully via supplied USP cable according to the params that I set. A PC application lets you initiate a test, review the test log, review power levels and more. It's well worth the price to protect an expensive PC like the one I use.

I use this in a PC built exclusively to test VR builds for heavily modded Skyrim VR. It replaced a 5600X and the video card is a 3090. My headsets are a Pico 4, HP Reverb G2, and a Valve Index. The main difference I see is the low frame rate spikes from the 5600X have mostly disappeared but the headsets can still easily maintain their maximum fps. So this was a worthwhile upgrade for this system.

The test data using CINEBENCH is not for the casual PC user. The HWINFO64 was used to monitor during the 10 minutes the program was running. Highest temp on any of the 16 cores was 72.7C. This was using Noctua's largest twin tower air cooler with two 140MM fans. I was an aerospace packaging engineer by trade and thermal considerations have always been a major concern of mine. PS. the column headings are: current/min/maximum/average

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Works well with all my monitors. No more compatibility issues!
