Pc Part Picker 6Tb Drives

I ended up cancelling this order and going with the larger 6TB drives instead.

First time building my own PC, I used this case with PCpart picker and it fits everything perfectly. It's got a wonderful little back panel section to run wires through a non-visible section of the case that helps make everything inside look nice and pretty. Seems super durable, all the sensitive (glass and plastic) surfaces come with plastic on them to protect them while shipping. Super solid feeling and honestly just feels like a high quality case. Steal of a deal!

Upgrading my NAS from 8x 4TB Drives to 8x 6TB drives for more capacity. I have bought four of these drives so far and they are working exactly as they should. I'll buy the other four next month and finish the upgrade. Very happy with them in my FreeNAS build. I am running a Raid-Z2 for redundancy and so my available space was approx 20TB before and it will be approx 32TB after. Plenty of room for our photos, videos, projects, home storage, audio, etc. For now anyway.

WD's Red Pro (7200rpm) Drives are my server/NAS drives of choice and these 6tb have matched my expectations.

I have several WD 6TB drives and so far they are great. Simple to set up and have run flawlessly.

Love this unit. i have two of them..use one for time machine with 2 4TB drives and the other i use with 2 6TB drives and sometimes 2 8TB drives. Works great. Nice and quiet. Super easy to swap out drives..just remember to shut the machine off before taking out the drives.

I got 2 of these (2x 6TB) to set up a RAID in a new PC build, so far they work great. I'm a WD fan, and these will hopefully have all the performance I need.

I purchased the WD 6TB Elements Desktop drive in April 2021. It's now June 2024 and the drive is performing great. I already had a WD 4TB My Book drive but was getting close to running out of space for my music, photos, videos, and documents. I've been using these drives every day for about 6 hours and both drives are still performing like new. My 4TB My Book has over 22,000 runtime hours and my 6TB Elements has over 14,000 runtime hours.

I have three 6TB G-Raid drives I use to back up file based video content. The e-sata connection makes transferring files in both environments very fast. I have never had any problems or failures. Just in case, having a three year warranty from G-Tech is a great safety net. I do hope the newer versions of this drive will support USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt...

Added two 6TB RED 7200 RPM WD drives to our NAS. It was second set setup in RAID-1 format. Work, very well. No issues. Good response, and very easy to install. Would recommend anytime.
