Pc Power Supply Making Grinding Noise
Dodad62 | 2024-06-04 06:36:57 |
I bought this Xerox a few months ago and so far it is working great. No noise or grinding noise again so far. 5 |

The headline says it all. One caveat: if your computer has a noisy power supply the noise will likely turn up in the output. 5 |

It's a power supply. 5 |

This is a very nice small USB power supply. The prongs fold up, making it even smaller - very convenient - and provides 2.4A of power. Very Nice. 5 |

Works just as easy as making the connections. Windows 7 - no problem. Short cut keys ( quick double tap of scroll then enter- and you switch between the two computers. You can have one set of speakers for both computers (the cables are built in). AS long as you have one connector to go from the monitor to their box ( same for keyboard and mouse) you are set. I am using DVI - and one computer is XP, the other is Win 7. I like the fact that it has it's own power supply. And if you use a master switch, you can put the power supply with that. My master switch goes to a UPS, so no worry there. Use it, you'll like it - and the one question I had was answered promptly by their tech support after a morning phone call. Couldn't ask for more. 5 |

I bought this because I wanted to see if a better, quieter, switching power supply would improve the sound of my sonos port feeding into an external DAC. I had read that cheaper switching power supplies can create a lot of noise. I tried it and noticed better dynamic range and quieter noise floor. For me, it works well. I suspect that for others, it will depend on what type of device it is being attached to. 5 |

This little phantom power supply is great. Very low noise (I can't tell that it adds any) and battery lasts an entire evening which is perfect for location recording. Built better than military specs. I'll bet it lasts the rest of my life. 5 |

Building a silent system the power supply is always the last item to contend with to stop more system noise. After I put the Seasonic in place no more extra fan noise that I couldn't control. Does an amazing job powering my system and as components will only get less and less wattage (hopefully) as time goes on 700 watts is more than enough for most high ending gaming systems. Amazing job as usual Seasonic and the quality is amazing. Always buy SeaSonic you will never be disappointed. 5 |

I upgraded to this from the Mic Power II supply because the wall-wart version was introducing some high-pitched switching noise into the system. With the battery-operated option, the noise is no issue. 5 |

This power supply is great, lasts well, and is durable. Extremely no noise makes the mkh 416t. I bought It for sound like a dream. Retains the softness of the vintage microphone. My one qualm is that for some reason. The only way to turn the on-off switch involves screwing off one of the plates and taking it apart a little bit, but you really only have to do that once... Then you can just take out the battery! 5 |
