I purchased this remote for the Panasonic AG-hmc41, the New Zealand equivalent of the US hmc40e as I also purchased a Proamusa 8ft jib and monitor. You cant have one without all three. Unfortunately, being the pearl at the bottom of the world means you pay pearl prices, so had to look offshore to fit my price range. I received my VZRock-PZFI Rocker Controller by Varizoom within 5 days from B&H Photo and had fingers cossed it would work with my camera. Hooked up and presto, awesome. The simplicity that focus, iris, zoom and record functions are at ones fingertip and thumb is going to make life easy. The zoom on the camera itself is a touch fiddly when mounted on a tripod (obviously unreachable at the end of the jib) so, as I am right handed, with the zoom controls on the right side of the camera, it means I have to use my left hand (non master) over the top of the camera if I'm panning/tilting etc using the trpiod. The rocker controller allows me to mount the device using the attached arm clamp thus one hand control. The rocker is smooth in its operation with a steady zoom in and out. Im a hobbyist and buy what I can afford, this product is a good piece of equipment and reasonably priced.

I use this in recording a hand drum ensemble and it captures sound to an amazing degree of clarity.

Second one I have purchased. Lost the first one and could not do without! Secures a smaller camera (Z50 without binding my hand. Great product and compatible with all my other Peak Design straps.

First, have a pair of tweezers or very small pliers on hand. Second, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Other than that, it's easy, and solid. NOTE: this is NOT meant to switch between lenses. If you have more than one Nikon/Nikkor lens, buy one for each. Once it's on there, you won't want to remove it. You can, just not very easily. Also, this does NOT support any AF or aperature or any other electronics. Manual only. I don't yet know the weather sealing on it, but I'm not about to test it. I think I'll keep this in the studio. I love being able to use my favorite old Nikkor nifty fifty again!

I like it! I have an acoustic drum set but have wanted additional sounds without hauling additional devices around. I have a cowbell. I want a deeper one as well. I want occasional roto toms, Timbales, electronic toms, chime tree, gong, even bass drum with my hand. I got a footboard pad as well and can play any sound with my module with my left foot, especially snare drum or cowbell. I've just discovered many new possibilities! The BT1 is a perfect size with many mounting possibilities. Since I move it from two drum sets and my practice set, I decided to mount it on a separate stand and it stays in front of my snare drum. It's out of the way unless I want to play it with either hand. So far it seems to be a durable piece of equipment. It's a basic plug it in to a sound module and play it. There are a couple set up adjustments for sound level and sensitivity. I wasn't getting every beat I played on it. But then I got the bright idea to reread setup and found in my module settings a specific BT1 input for sound pad. That put sensitivity and other levels perfect and now I love it! I definitely recommend it!
