Pentax 35Mm Film Camera Battery

This my second Pentax digital camera purchased from B&H. As a long time 35mm film shooter, it was hard to make the switch to digital. But the ease of operation and good quality photos produced by the K-X were very suprising. It is a rugged and easy to operate in the field. I would reccomend this camera to anyone.

I recently upgraded my 35mm film Pentax camera for a Pentax DSLR. This camera takes awesome pictures, even with me behind the viewfinder. This camera is so easy to operate. I would recommend Pentax to all. Great camera at a great price!

I am upgrading from a K-7 (yep) into the K-1 Mark II and it has been a really great and easy transition. -First off, most of the controls and menus are exactly what I've seen before which made it really easy to set up right out of the box. I really like the additional dial on the top for quick access to things like HDR, bracketing, WiFi. -Secondly, the weight of this camera is substantial but it feels really well balanced in the hands. I've been shooting with either the Sigma 35mm Art or the Pentax-D FA* 85mm. The 85mm pushes my weight limit a bit and I will get a little tired on a long shoot, but the 35mm feels natural. -Lastly (and this is why I'll stick with Pentax as long as possible) the weather sealing is just something I don't see other manufactures doing. This camera feels like a beast that can take the bumps and bruises. When I'm out shooting I'm not constantly worried about not hurting my camera, this thing is a tank. If you shoot Pentax and need full frame then there (literally) is no other option than to go with this body. I know there are many other options out there if you're willing to switch to Cannon or Nikon but for those looking to stay with Pentax, you won't be disappointed. The only gripe I have is with video capture- No 4k option and no 60p at Full HD. I was impressed with the video none the less. The quality coming out at 1080p 24p was great and for slow motion 720p 60p was above my expectations.

I use this with my mirrorless camera and the Essential Film Holder. I scan tons of 35mm film and this light works perfectly.

I use this with a Sony camera to scan 35mm film. It's flawless. I combine with the Essential Film Holder and it works very well.

We will be going to Scotland this year. The Thunderhead backpack has enough room for a Pentax 645 NII, 3 lenses, 2 extra film inserts, filters,15 rolls of film and a cable shutter release. In addition it will hold my Leica X2, electronic view finder, battery charger, extra battery and memory cards. The laptop compartment will hold my Pentax 645 owner,s manual, which is quite large and my Leica owner,s manual. My tripod mounts on the side of the backpack very securely. And in addition it is small enough to carry aboard the aircraft. After some adjustments the pack fits perfectly and essays to carry.
