Pentax Digital Cameras For Sale

I have been using Pentax digital cameras for 5 years now. I have own and use a Pentax *ist DL, K-x, two K-200D's and now a K-7. I have enjoyed every Pentax camera I have, but the K-7 is truly an artist's camera. Removed of superfluous gimmicks, the K-7 is incredibly versatile and with configurable options and architecture for getting exactly the shot you want. The pictures, especially compared to Canon and Nikon are much sharper, are accepted and edited will in Aperture in RAW format and produce excellent prints and other digital media. The video is excellent and in many ways surpasses other DSLR video I have seen. As with many, it is less than idea in very low light, but does competitively well. The battery grip by Pentax is overpriced in my opinion but still a good option and makes the camera much more ergonomic for the grip. Consider a third party battery grip of good quality. Haven't found anything that is remotely a functional or performance deal breaker with this camera. Great quality build and body, great functionality and superior images. instantly my favorite camera to use. 5 |

I've had Pentax cameras going back to the 1960's and started with the digital versions as soon as they came out. This camera tops the list. Amazing features, fantastic resolution. I have several Pentax constant f2.8 zooms and while the kit lens is pretty good it doesn't match up to the higher end lenses - of course. Still, overall a decent lens. And I've been using the battery grips as long as they've been available. Makes for a great feel along with extended battery life. This combination of body, lens, and grip is a really good deal. 5 |

I have used Pentax cameras for over 40 years, my first Digital was the ist* and now the K-7. It works great for my use, which is almost all outdoors. Scenery & Wildlife. This camera works well with large lens. And B&H had a good price and fast service. 5 |

I switched from Pentax to Nikon in 1991. I've owned three film and a couple of digital cameras, both APS-C. I'm in my early 70s. The D850 takes me back to full-frame photography. The features, ease of use, and results indicate to me that while Nikon may have lost a purchaser of new equipment, this camera assures a life-long user. 5 |

The Watson D-LI109 is a great battery replacement for the Pentax K digital cameras. They charge quickly and last a long time. Less than half the price of a Pentax. 5 |

I use this bag for my Leica M and R cameras. I carry an M with lenses and an R8 with one lens, filters, a Pentax Digital Spotmeter, etc. The bag is just large enough but with all of this gear it is comfortable to carry and efficient to use. I also own a Domke original bag which I have had for years and I like the fact that the design F6 is similar to that of my other bag making everything familiar and natural. I highly recommend this bag. 5 |

Purchased this item for my new Pentax K200D digital camera. I have two older Pentax cameras in which the filter size is different on them. I do have this particular filter for the older cameras. This is why I purchased it for the new one. I have purchased from B&H before and have always been satisfied... 5 |

Over 25 years ago we purchased 2 Pentax cameras and used them happily until a digital camera took over. With this purchase we are back to using the old lenses and equipment and enjoying all the new features that this camera offers. 5 |

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old. 5 |
