Pentax K 30 Camera Backpack

I have a 30+ year old Tamron macro zoom lens with an Adaptall 2 mounting ring for Pentax K. Last week I bought a D3500 from B&H. I saw this adapter on the B&H site and figured why not give it a try. I removed the Pentax adapter, put on this one for the Nikon F, and found this adapter does work with my old lens and new camera. Since this is a totally manual lens you need to run the camera in manual mode (M). You adjust the ISO setting and shutter speed on the camera. You adjust aperture and focus on the lens just like using an old 35-mm film camera. This adapter has given life to a lens I have not used for over 15 years. The adapter is what it is - it mates the old lens to the camera body. I have no complaints. Since it either works or it does not, I gave it 5 stars.

I use this camera for a wide variety of photographic situations and have been impressed by it's performance in every way. The compatibility with all previous Pentax lenses and in-camera shake reduction for all of the Pentax mount lenses make this camera very attractive to anyone with existing Pentax equipment. The light weight and compact size make it easy to pack and a pleasure to use on long shoots. I highly recommend this camera.

It does what it is meant to do. It mounts perfectly in my K-30 Pentax camera and to the front of my lenses allowing me to reverse and use them for macro photography, without spending a lot of money in expensive macro lenses. Just great!

We have 2 Pentax K-30 that use the same battery. It's always good to have extra that can be charged with the same charger.

Works well with Pentax K-1 and 15-30 and 24-70 lens.

I really like clear sound of K.2 series. Recommend for DJs live sound.

This lens and my 15-30 Pentax are my two favorite lenses.Pricey (even on sale) but warm images and hand held inside available light with no issue(s)

Note, the Pentax K-r and the Pentax K-30 use this battery. While a slightly smaller battery compared to the rest of the industry, I still get way over 400 shots on my Pentax K-r. During finals for school, I've shot in the studio from 6am to nearly 2pm to finish my work and even then my battery still had enough kick to it. That being said, there is no replacement for a spare. Get one, and you will have all your bases covered.

almost 30 years ago I use Pentax SLR and now DSLR. This is a gift for a nephew. It is perfect as input equipment for machines DSLR

Fits my Pentax 645n perfectly. Also fits my RSS BH-30 ball head perfectly.
