Pentax Me Super 35Mm Slr Film Camera Review

I'm a long time Pentax user from my first ME Super purchased in the Spring of 1981, to my most recent purchase, the K-1 Mk II. I especially love the fact that the Pentax K-mount lenses will work from the ME Super up to the K-1. No need to re-acquire new lenses for a new camera. The Battery Grip has some redundant camera controls, so you don't have to stress yourself out when changing the camera orientation from landscape to portrait. The controls are in the right place, to be comfortable. The Pentax 28-105 mm zoom lens is clear and superb. Quick auto-focus and easy to compose your shot with the zoom feature. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my decision to acquire and purchase the K-1.

I have been a Pentax person for many years, my first camera was a K1000 and later added the ME super to my bag. Loved them both but with the passage of time they got out dated. This new lens is awesome and can't tell you how pleased I am.

Built like a tank and has tactile feel of my old Pentax ME Super or K1000. This camera has brought the fun back - I'm shooting 100% manual mode - everything. I also am shooting RAW + Jpeg

This my second Pentax digital camera purchased from B&H. As a long time 35mm film shooter, it was hard to make the switch to digital. But the ease of operation and good quality photos produced by the K-X were very suprising. It is a rugged and easy to operate in the field. I would reccomend this camera to anyone.
