Pentax Optio 30 Digital Camera

I ordered the Pentax K-x 35 mm digital SLR camera... Very Pleased. Wouldn't hesitate to order from B&H again.

I do not have any camera lenses of this diameter. So... I am using on my Pentax digital 1 degree spot meter. It does a great job in that respect, keeping dust, pollen, and gunk from accumulating on the lens and inside the barrel. I have not seen a lot of 40.5 mm filters of any type in the market, really glad to find this one... good secure fit.

I have a 30+ year old Tamron macro zoom lens with an Adaptall 2 mounting ring for Pentax K. Last week I bought a D3500 from B&H. I saw this adapter on the B&H site and figured why not give it a try. I removed the Pentax adapter, put on this one for the Nikon F, and found this adapter does work with my old lens and new camera. Since this is a totally manual lens you need to run the camera in manual mode (M). You adjust the ISO setting and shutter speed on the camera. You adjust aperture and focus on the lens just like using an old 35-mm film camera. This adapter has given life to a lens I have not used for over 15 years. The adapter is what it is - it mates the old lens to the camera body. I have no complaints. Since it either works or it does not, I gave it 5 stars.

I am a fine art photographer with 30+ years of photographic experience and have a highly technical background. I use this camera for a wide variety of photographic situations and have been impressed by it's performance in every way. The compatibility with all previous Pentax lenses and in-camera shake reduction for all of the Pentax mount lenses make this camera very attractive to anyone with existing Pentax equipment. The light weight and compact size make it easy to pack and a pleasure to use on long shoots. I highly recommend this camera.

It does what it is meant to do. It mounts perfectly in my K-30 Pentax camera and to the front of my lenses allowing me to reverse and use them for macro photography, without spending a lot of money in expensive macro lenses. Just great!

I use my Optio W80 to take photographs while boating and hunting, so I never take it onboard without its floating wrist strap. When I'm not using the camera, I keep it nestled in the wrist strap and attached to it, so it actually acts like a floating life vest should the camera accidentally fall overboard. The bright yellow color is a plus when I want to quickly grab the camera for a shot.

I use my Pentax digital camera to photograph inactive mine sites in the State of Colorado. My new lens is so clear, I wish my vision matched it.

I have been using Pentax digital cameras for 5 years now. I have own and use a Pentax *ist DL, K-x, two K-200D's and now a K-7. I have enjoyed every Pentax camera I have, but the K-7 is truly an artist's camera. Removed of superfluous gimmicks, the K-7 is incredibly versatile and with configurable options and architecture for getting exactly the shot you want. The pictures, especially compared to Canon and Nikon are much sharper, are accepted and edited will in Aperture in RAW format and produce excellent prints and other digital media. The video is excellent and in many ways surpasses other DSLR video I have seen. As with many, it is less than idea in very low light, but does competitively well. The battery grip by Pentax is overpriced in my opinion but still a good option and makes the camera much more ergonomic for the grip. Consider a third party battery grip of good quality. Haven't found anything that is remotely a functional or performance deal breaker with this camera. Great quality build and body, great functionality and superior images. instantly my favorite camera to use.

I've been into digital photography for 7 years and just made the jump to a Pentax Kx DSLR. It is a great camera at a great price. It is easy to use and takes great pictures.

This my second Pentax digital camera purchased from B&H. As a long time 35mm film shooter, it was hard to make the switch to digital. But the ease of operation and good quality photos produced by the K-X were very suprising. It is a rugged and easy to operate in the field. I would reccomend this camera to anyone.
