I was looking for a replacement for my Pentax WG II that I have used for over 10 years and loved for my adventure style travel. It was the perfect size and took great pics. Not easy to do in this day and age where everyone just uses a cell phone. I was able to get the camera, a case, AND a 128GB SD card for the same price that Amazon charges for the camera alone! I haven't gotten the opportunity to use it yet on a trip, but I am looking forward to it! Thanks B & H Photo. 5 |

This new dslr from Pentax implements many nice changes with a few that I didn't really like. This is my fourth Pentax dslr and my second crop. I hoping they don't realize the K-1 Mark III this year, knowing Pentax development, they take their time to make something good. This camera is the same quality I have come to expect from Pentax. Pricewise, this is expensive. I am not a fan of losing the built-in gps, kind of ruins astrotracing features a little. The trade off is worth it for the pentaprism. I hope they release the next gps II unit for the hotshoe soon and that it improves from the past edition. A touch screen on a dslr or any larger than a point and shooter is not really for me. I think camera manufactures are trying to make the interaction for like a phone. Seems like something that I could touch accidently or get all gross over time. I also wish Pentax followed some Fuji's design and had the screen so I could flip it closed and shoot just with the viewfinder. The screen not tilting is not a deal breaker for me. I would have liked tilting, or even being able to flip the screen closed. The other minor disappointment is the charging. I am not sure why camera manufacturers are no longer including battery chargers. Maybe they figure we own them already or they can make more money or maybe there was something about fast charging that made it impractical. Charging the battery from a wall outlet directly in the camera is not a great idea especially since the battery is removable. If there was a power surge could be possible to fry the 2 grand camera. Luckily Pentax didn't change batteries so I can use my old chargers. The upgrades to the Pentax dslr hopefully will be seen in a future released K-1 as well. Although I hope Pentax keep the gps on the K-1. I put the old 43mm on it and need to get out shooting.... 5 |

I do not have any camera lenses of this diameter. So... I am using on my Pentax digital 1 degree spot meter. It does a great job in that respect, keeping dust, pollen, and gunk from accumulating on the lens and inside the barrel. I have not seen a lot of 40.5 mm filters of any type in the market, really glad to find this one... good secure fit. 5 |

I use my Optio W80 to take photographs while boating and hunting, so I never take it onboard without its floating wrist strap. When I'm not using the camera, I keep it nestled in the wrist strap and attached to it, so it actually acts like a floating life vest should the camera accidentally fall overboard. The bright yellow color is a plus when I want to quickly grab the camera for a shot. 5 |

I use my Pentax digital camera to photograph inactive mine sites in the State of Colorado. My new lens is so clear, I wish my vision matched it. 5 |

I have been using Pentax digital cameras for 5 years now. I have own and use a Pentax *ist DL, K-x, two K-200D's and now a K-7. I have enjoyed every Pentax camera I have, but the K-7 is truly an artist's camera. Removed of superfluous gimmicks, the K-7 is incredibly versatile and with configurable options and architecture for getting exactly the shot you want. The pictures, especially compared to Canon and Nikon are much sharper, are accepted and edited will in Aperture in RAW format and produce excellent prints and other digital media. The video is excellent and in many ways surpasses other DSLR video I have seen. As with many, it is less than idea in very low light, but does competitively well. The battery grip by Pentax is overpriced in my opinion but still a good option and makes the camera much more ergonomic for the grip. Consider a third party battery grip of good quality. Haven't found anything that is remotely a functional or performance deal breaker with this camera. Great quality build and body, great functionality and superior images. instantly my favorite camera to use. 5 |

This my second Pentax digital camera purchased from B&H. As a long time 35mm film shooter, it was hard to make the switch to digital. But the ease of operation and good quality photos produced by the K-X were very suprising. It is a rugged and easy to operate in the field. I would reccomend this camera to anyone. 5 |
