The AKG P120 has very good dynamic range for a budget microphone. Excellent for voice, and quite good for instrumentals (cello and guitar), too. I listened to every microphone in the $150-250 dollar range before making a decision, and this handily outperformed every other mic in this class. Very nice build quality, heavy and robust. 5 |

We have professional portables genetics test units in some Hospitals, that units include a laptop and other instrumentals, the better way to protect it and facility work is with Pelican Case 1500EMS. Excellent quality, lifetime guarantee, lock capacity and built to resistant. 5 |

These pairs look sexy and sound amazing. Chose some old song, you will hear different instrumentals come to life. The song that these really comes out is "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5. A very nice flat sound with a tweak in bass. Mids and High sound phenomenal. There is no distortion when the volume is turned up. 5 |

Excellent product. Captures guitar and instrumentals with fantastic clarity. Great even on the high accoustics. More than enough for YouTube videos and any commentary. 5 |

I use these headphones for more than just casual listening. I record tracks and mix instrumentals with these. Everyone says my mix is so clear and believed i use studio monitors. I have been using them almost everyday for about 7-8 months and they still work perfectly. I am going to buy some more expensive studio quality headphones but these held over well considering they only cost $. I am not an audiophile by any means but the i think there could be a little too much bass. 5 |

I can finally hear the voices on documentaries. The foreground music and drama percussion would drown it out. 5 |

I am using this mic for vocals and handheld percussion. It is fantastic. But be careful not to overdrive it, as it is very sensitive. 5 |

I use for orchestra percussion overhead and that do a great job bringing in everything from xylophone to triangle 5 |

In my project studio I record various acoustic instruments such as guitar, upright bass and violin. I also record vocals and various hand percussion. I have traditionally used small condensers such as Neumann KM 184's and AKG C451-B's but was craving the sound that only a large diaphragm can deliver. I love AKG products especially those built in Vienna. So far have only used the 214 on vocals, acoustic guitar and middle eastern percussion and it more than met my expectations. I love the AKG sound. To me AKG's are not as transparent as Neumann BUT that is what I dig about it..it brings a bit of color and an openness. At the price point..this is a must have mic..you can never go wrong with AKG 5 |
