Person With Microphone Stand

This microphone stand is being used as a tabletop stand very close to a person talking. A panel of presenters sit at a long table facing the audience and I needed to have an SM58 right in the face of each person. The stand works very well for that and it's all black, blends well with my stands from a different manufacturer and is an all-around team player. I'd trust the stand to work in a whole lot of different situations too. The base is fairly heavy without being dangerous or a hassle to carry around. The base is heavy enough to be able to extend the boom a fair distance from the base and to some extent, off axis...it's really about what you'd expect. Incidently, the base is slightly lighter than the stands from another brand that I have, so I can offer lighter stands if I need to. Nice product. At first, I thought it was a cheapie made out of not-so-good materials, but the more I checked it out and used it, I've decided it's a good product worth having. And it gets the job done! 5 |

For an inexpensive microphone stand, it seems to be solid. 5 |

This stand is sturdy and well bit. The best part about it is it's reliability vs. a person holding your reflector;) 5 |

I have used this speaker stand before and love it. The twist lock allows one person to easily raise and lower the speaker. 5 |

Just the right thickness and does the job right. One person (I'm female) can lift and put on the stand by themselves if necessary. 5 |

Solid mic stand. I use it for my shotgun mic so I don't need a boom person. Probably will get one more. 5 |

When our remote Google Hangout attendees complained that they could not hear some of the people around our conference table, I ordered this AC-404 after reading some reviews. The reviews were right. This microphone does everything we hoped for. It will pick up the person at the far end of the table without getting blown out by a person sitting closer. Also it eliminated some of the feedback issue we were having with the computer's built-in microphone. I would recommend this mic to anyone needing a USB solution in conference mics. 5 |

I've had this microphone for about a year now for in-person band interviews and it works great! Cancels out all noise for the most part, clear as a whistle. 5 |
