I put this in the lid of a 1514 case that I use a a vehicle tool kit for overland travel. Perfect for storing those small tools, gloves, clamps, etc... decent construction, zippers seem to be fine but may wear out over time, we'll see.

So while Pelican has been the defacto injection molded case for some time, (I currently own about 20 of them), I'm done with them. Why? On one fateful assignment recently, I had a Pelican lid crack all the way through. Undaunted, I contacted Pelican to see about a replacement lid since the cases (allegedly) have a lifetime warranty. But guess what? Pelican does NOT warranty ANY damage incurred during travel on commercial airlines. Seriously? Isn't that what WE BUY THEM FOR?? So.... I started looking around, and have since purchased two new SKB cases and love them. Time will tell if they'll hold up as well (I suspect they will, based on how incredibly well built they seem to be) but if not, I know that SKB WILL warranty damage incurred during air travel because I contacted them and specifically asked before purchasing. What I thought Pelican did all along.....

I needed another travel case for my camera gear and this case popped up on sale here on B&H. I have not traveled with it yet. This case is well built and the divider and lid organizer are great. The Wheeled 935 is very similar to my other travel case (from a competing brand X) which is a very good, tried and true, well seasoned case. But, I think Nanuk's lid organizer may work a little better for me. Thank you B&H for making such a great deal on the Nanuk 935 Wheeled Hard Case!

I also bought the 1514 Lid organizer and this case works great for air travel! A decent amount of space fits my FS7 perfect with room for the EVF and shotgun, plus camera accessories. Build quality is excellent and the case is definitely worth the investment.

This case is super high quality. I use it for travel and I say dual-purpose because I like to use my computer out of any case at home or office, but for travel it is the perfect tote and looks so swanky and then when you are out and need to use your computer the case just stays right with it. The lid opens with the computer and the clear corner tabs inside hold the case on, with the bottom of the computer sitting firmly on the rubber pads. When you shut the lid it simply goes back to the perfect position to rezip it. No fuss. I looked at at least 50 cases before settling on this one. I am a minimalist and this is it! The zipper is about as thick as the MacBook Pro with zipper tabs that fold back nicely and snug so that they are not dangling at the bottom. Nice touch. The leather is not your typical heavy leather with cut sewn edges. It is soft, thinner, and folded in at seams. In fact, if you set your computer on top of the case then when you pick it up it will leave indentations where the computer feet were. It is memory foam so it does return to the smooth exterior. I bought one of these for my 12" MacBook too.

I am an Industrial and Commercial Electrician. I occupationally travel out of state (two or three times a month) and always use very flimsy cases that are packed with foam and bright neon green straps. I decided to splurge myself and buy Pelican 1560 Case because its very durable, its bright (easy to find from other black cases). When I travel, I want to make sure my expensive tools reach the final destination. I always have a GPS tracker inside my case so I can track it faster and without any problems. I don't use it for Camera or video equipment. I use it only for tools. I can pack everything I need and still be under 50lb limit. Its heavy duty design, wheels are strong, this Pelican 160 case is bright (that's what I like... to minimize theft). I use it for work. Note: I purchased a Mesh Lid Organizer (A-MoDe Limited Mesh Lid Organizer ) that helps me keep smaller specialty tools more organized.

Solid enough for surety, light enough for travel, with the padded dividers for flexibility and a lid organizer for some extra storage, I am very pleased with this product.
