I work in the Media Services department at a university. We have many different audio recorders available including Zoom H1, H2, and H4's, Olympus recorders, and others. I purchased this for my personal use at home but decided to bring it to work and use it to record the audio for some training videos. This recorder is perfect. It has simultaneous recording of audio at two different levels so there is no need to use AGC when recording. The unit is tiny and totally unobtrusive. I like it so much that I plan to use this recorder for most video projects instead of using the Sony wireless mics I normally use. I showed the boss my recent videos and explained that I used my personal DR-10L for the audio. She immediately asked me to send her the details so she could order these recorders for our department. This has become my favorite audio recorder, bar none!

One of the best purchases I ever made for personal and work related digital data. Due to the high storage capacity, I can load it heavily with data files, torrent movies, music, pc games and programs without every having to worry about running out of space when I need it the most! This model lights up blue when it is active- good way to know when in use and when powered off. Even got a Linux distro on it as backup. Can't wait for a TB memory unit like this!

Purchased for the purpose of back-up data on my personal SAN and it worked perfectly. Plugged it right in and it just worked with no configuration or mishaps.

I use it to store personal data such as photos, videos, documents, and music. The things that i like the most about it is that it doesnt require an AC Adapter, it's small and compact, and it transfers files at a fast rate. So far i have no negatives about it. It Works like it should.

I got 4 of these for my personal Synology NAS that I use for my tons of video and photo data. I have been long customer of Seagate and in over 20 years never had a single issue with one of their drives. this is another in that long tradition and I hope ti will last as long and perform as well. I got 2 delivered and they were very well packaged. The drives are quiet to silent when no data is being transferred. I use it in my personal office for a NAS.
