Well, there is a reason why Rycote is the industry standard in this product category. Their suspension really gets rid of a lot of vibration types. Also, it accepts probably all shotgun mics and even other types. I was first shocked that the windshield zeppelin is made of plastic, but think about it. On a boompole you don't want to hang clunky and heavy metal gear, especially when you extend the pole to 3 meters! Your arms will thank you. Everything is well thought through. You can take the zeppelin away to adjust the mic without having to disconnect the cables or other complicated operations. This way you can very quickly switch mics. Slide zeppelin away, remove mic, put new mic into the suspension, slide the zeppelin back on. It's really easy to handle.

Well made and well thought out. This camera bag got me through two airports and on to two different types of aircraft with no problems. My bag fit on a small ERJ-175 and a larger airbus. I was not questioned once and many crew stared at it. The ticket scanners challenged my wife’s hard shell regular carry-on bag but not my fully loaded camera bag. I fit my 5DSR with 24-70 2.8 attached, as well as my 70-200, 24 T/S, 50 T/S, 16-35 2.8 and my 100 macro. It also fit batteries and charger and other kit. I haven’t yet had need of the straps but they are handy to have.

Recording for many different types of projects. Well constructed - looks like it will hold out for a long time. I have used a lot of mic cables in my life time - and tend to ware them out quickly. Had a good set of Monster cables a few years back - I think that was the brand name on them. Well - I wore those out in a hurry. Will need some longer cables for a mobile project coming up. SO I will purchase some more of this product very soon.

Well designed, small and compact, has easy-to-use controls and multiple types of inputs and outputs. I used it to connect a microphone and a stenomask (essentially a microphone with muffling to limit audible sound outside the mask) to a PC running recording software. Worked great and, for a person not that familiar with audio, very easy to understand and set up.
