This sub gives off the perfect amount of bass for what I was looking for! It's not over powering and blended perfect with my speakers.

I got one for each of the kids families! And then one for me and grandpa!!

Being able to light my face at 4 feet at 9% power means that I'm pretty sure this bad boy is able to light my face through time and space and beyond. Also tungsten or daylight. Whew.

You can definitely not underestimate the value of using filters. For starters, I'd much rather have a piece of sand or dirt come up and crack a filter than an expensive lens. Besides that benefit, I love using them, playing with them, the added effects and enhancements they give my photos, etc. There is a great booklet that comes with this starter set that not only explains the included filters (so you know what they do and when to use them), but the booklet also gives you lots of information about other filter options. My only complaint is the the booklet makes you want to buy more filters. : )
