Phantom 3 Professional 4K Camera

Only by about 3%-4%, but still 6 cores are doing better than 8. Runs reasonably cool and no problems with games or professional apps like Photoshop or Lightroom. For most people wanting a fast enough computer without a big investment this is the sweet spot.

This is not a camera for vloggers. It's intent is to be used as a professional go to. Hence no IBIS (doesn't really matter in the professional video world). 10 bit Cinema 4K at 400mbs kind of speaks for itself. The quality of footage is outstanding packed in the small mirrorless body. DUAL ISO is simply incredible. This camera can see in the dark. Something you used to only get in Varicam models. I have paired this camera with a metabones xl speedbooster and the quality of 4K footage I get is amazing.

Okay, maybe I lied just a little - I only have four of them in my studio. (To be fair, I said like, which makes the statement less precise.) Let me see, what do I use these babies for? One camera is mounted with a light less than a foot from a chromakey mat. It performs its duties masterfully on screen, with the reliability of a star in a leading role, despite being relegated to wholly invisible duties most of the time. The image quality means I do not have to worry about awkward graining or shadows. Another camera feeds 4K video to be used as a picture-in-picture insert into live streams that I do. The image quality means I can crop and zoom and pan as needed to get the perfect view each time. The third camera captures a wide studio view for my Patreon supporters, as a secondary behind the scenes feed. The image quality mean it captures a professional and crisp image. The fourth camera is used for B-roll, whether temporarily mounted to a microphone stand or some other protruding fixture, or handheld on a mini gimbal. I think it's time to buy a fifth one! What I'm trying to say, is - if you need something that can handle 4K quality in all sorts of lighting conditions (and /professional/ 4K quality under professional lighting conditions) - this is my go-to camera for anything and everything where a sub-$500 camera will do, and it's not even half that price!

This camera is an incredibly versatile machine; it has almost every capability a professional photographer could want or need including video up to 4K! The focus, metering, and picture control options are just too numerous to discuss. Needless to say, if you can't take great photos with this machine, then it just can't be done.

I use a professional 4K television camera and head on a weekly basis and wanted something I could use on my D750 DSLR to get more fluid shots. This head fits the bill. Smooth, easily adjusted and not too big. love it!

I use this camera for professional video and photo use and it performs excellent at both. Pros: dual pixel autofocus works smoothly (best in the market), beautiful canon colors, 4k, slomotion capability (60p and 120p), built in timelapse video function, HDR video mode, viewfinder 2 shows a lot more information, rugged build quality Cons: 4k has a crop factor, 120 fps slomo is only at 720p It's hard to find a camera that can do it all at a good price. I could have gone with the sony a7sii or a7rii but neither does well at both video and photo. While the 5D4 is not perfect, it bridges both creative worlds for the type of work I do which is weddings and family portraits.

I waited a long time to step up from the original Phantom 4...and the Phantom 4 Pro V2 is exactly the upgrade I would expect from DJI - the camera and the drone all function exactly as promised! If you've been using a Phantom 4, this is what you've already got but improved...if you been using another model DJI or another brand, this is the drone that lets you produce professional quality photo and videos without going into the Inspire price zone. As a professional photographer and videographer, I am very particular about gear, quality and dependability...DJI meets all the standards and has continued to improve while maintaining the standards they began with as a drone company. If you are thinking you want this drone, get it! My original Phantom 4, purchased in 2017 still works perfectly and I anticipate this version will last too - and the Phantom batteries you already have work too! Oh, last thing...the model is considerably quieter and has impressive speed : )

if you have the money, buy it. The mount and this product make flying in bright Florida sun possible. Some reviewers want to go back to ipad or phone??? i do not think they fly in bright sun conditions. This product is not perfect, but it works extremely well for my phantom3 4K There was such a vision issue with the iPhone display in full sun I did not fly anytime I could not find shade. if you have a better product than my phantom 3 4K, definitely go with the jumbo monitor. Apparently my phantom 3 4K doesn't work with the bigger screen
